So before you start printing you'll need to get that part fixed. But otherwise I really like how it fades between the colour and black & white. I honestly wouldn't change it to the other expression. Oh AND I have to say - Wii Super Hoola is SO FUN!! I will certainly admit that I love playing that game! Man, I want to skip out on work and go home to play wii now! It gets left to the wayside far too often. P.S. Tonya - did you have a jump in numbers for how many people you have booked?!?! Maybe it's just my fried brain but I don't know if I remember seeing 26 there before! OMG I didn't even notice!!! and I've been writing 'Punta Cana' over and over again. lol thank you, what woud I do without you girls. Oh yes I love that game, try doing it for 12 mins tho, holy it's hard and definitely makes you sweat lol! So you do the Wii, and you work out at the gym or at home?!?! Thats amazing, where do you find the time and energy? My one friend booked today so I will fix my ticker after this post. He's seeing his parents tonight - NO - My future in laws have not booked their room yet - WTF!!!! FI's cousin who responded yes - FI called today and now he and wife are fighting and haven't booked yet - FI told him I am cancelling hold on rooms next week and if he hasn't booked he loses the price. My other friend promised me this week....It's like pulling teeth to get people to go to an effing ISLAND! LOL!! thankfully yes fo you girls and proof reading. Aww.. were you able to get the cards fixed? I sent an e-mail and got no reply back, the only person who booked is a really close friend, and he lives in Ireland, and he was't able to get a 'package' he had to book everything ' a la cart' so it came out to be a lot more expensive. I think most people will book in March and if there is no more rooms, to bad for them. I am worried about my MOH a little since she will book in March, and if there isn't any rooms left ,then both the FI and I will have no witness. At least my parents booked, but not the FI's parents!! WTH!! you'd think they would care if they got a room or not. What make me mad is FI friend, his gf was divorced a few years back, and then she met FI's friend they use to date in collage. But she is jealous of FI and and my relationship, and that we are getting married, because she doesn't have that anymore. SHe bugged him fo a year (they had been dating for 2 months before she bugged him) to move it together (even tho that meant puttng his kid,and her 2 kids as a big family) recently they moved into together but he made it a point that, thats how far he is willing to go in the relationship, gave her a promise ring and said maybe one day, but not any time soon.. every since then she has wanted nothing to do with out wedding. So after they come back from Punta Cana, I get their rsvp they aren't coming, but the friend acts like his really missing out on something..so I've gotto assum its the GF. But I've given up on caring.. just the FI has no friends coming at all At least he'll have some family members. I just can't wait until march.. this way everyone who wants to come will be booked by then and we all can know who is coming or not for sure!

Thank you!! exactly I never get bored working out, I actually work out now more then I even need to because it's so fun!! better then sitting on my butt watching t.v

what do you guys think? I am thinking of asking her to change 'punta cana' to ' to have and to hold, to keep your drinks cold'

And my countdown is actually less than 100 days now! OMG! FI and I went on our resort website today, since he really has nothing to do with the planning and did a little virtual tour, and looked at the side tours we could do, like zip lining and ATVs....he's never been to any resorts or islands so now he's really starting to get excited, and it's starting to hit both of us that it's happening soon!!!! I know less then 100 days now!! it's crazy.. I've got to get back into planning mode hard core. I got my labels all done by a friend for mine for the mugs. excited about that.. now just got to get them printed and on the mugs. Ohhh a king size bed.. I've been also bugging the FI for one of these.. he is well aware of having to get a new bed when we move into a house. FOr now it's ok.. like you guys my FI falls alseep on the couch allll the time. LOL what's up with men and sleeping on the couch? I love my bed.. you couldn't catch me sleeping on the couch unless it was fo a nap lol. My New Year's Resolution: To get this wedding on track and organized so I can actually relax and de-stress so that this damn ulcer will heal!! And to fit into my dress ) Was searching for BM's dresses tonight, found a couple online, but still can't make up my mind... Going to bed now...FI's on the sofa and I think he might fall asleep there too!! lol Good luck with getting back into wedding mode, I know you can do it!! You must have really missed the FI tho! Maybe you can put some of the dresses up that you can't choose, maybe we all can help you out, make things a little easier for you. That's exactly what I want to do.. get all the wedding stuff taken care of so I can de-stress and just look forward to going. How is the ulcer doing? Did you not see a doctor about it? Work out : Wii fit. Yes I am trying to sell people on this.. because it truly works.. I've been working out with it for 7 days and I feel the results already.

Their all like....."I can't get clothes yet, I have more weight to lose!" ughhhhh....MEN! I told the FI if he didn't find it important to get his suit I'd just call the wedding off (I was at a very frustrating part of the planning) the very next day we went and bought his suit lol!!! Oh,I never heard men say I need to lose weight before buying clothes.. but on the other hand the only 1 person standing up/next to the FI wants to lose weight too before getting attire. (His over weight though lol)

Great for you Michelle.. I know doing this the hard way isn't fun and it can get very frustrated especially when you see little or no results. But I think the trainer idea is a lot better then surgery. Like Meghan said something can happen while doing surgery or afterwards. If in the end your end result isn't something you want, then get a second opinion. Meghan, Do you really need a trainer? Your so fit and thin as it is.. I am telling you get a Wii lol really does the trick for toning and fitness.

LOL!!! thats cute!!!

Ckrn80 - for your welcome/rehearsal dinner, have you thought of renting a catamaran and going on a sail? You can get packages that are 2hrs, 4hrs or full day (those seem to be the common ones at least) and I know there are some threads here with suggestions for which companies to use... Either that or contact the concierge service at your resort and they should be able to help you too. Oh and that's awesome you have 42 people booked! you must be really excited about that! And girls - I have to share my story about my dad because he's just way too cute for words!! Throughout most of my planning, my parents have been amazing - really supportive and helpful - especially considering the problems they knew I'd been having before with my Future-IL's. So my dad - not wanting to say something wrong that would upset me has had one line for the past five months "Yes dear, whatever you want". He is just totally going along for the ride and letting me direct as needed. So yesterday we were talking and he starts asking about what my parents are expected as far as hosting the rehearsal dinner and what do I want them to do and what are they required to do etc. but he barely got through it all because he was so awkward in trying to make sure that he said things properly to me! It was actually really funny! Now, we'd decided long ago that we're not expecting anything from our parents at all. We don't want anyone to feel unnecessary pressure or stress so of course that's what I told him and he almost sounded surprised that I was already decided on it! We're having a family dinner probably the night before our wedding so I said he'd need to attend that, but otherwise he was off the hook. I don't think he quite believed me at first but I know he'll be glad that he doesn't have any formal responsibilities when we're down there. I love my dad!! I love that story.. It reminds me of my dad and I so much. My dad actually got very sick last winter, he went into a comma for 5 months.. they had to remove a lung so we weren't sure he'd live.. and then once he did get out of the comma, he didn't know me for a few months (cause of all the meds) I actually stoppd planning my wedding (in town wedding) But ever since he came back around and I told him how we felt about spending so much money on a wedding here, he supported me first (way before mom) and said to do what we wanted, what makes me happy. And his been on the ride every since.. His happy I am not making him wear a suite, other then that his willing to do anything LOL Your dad must be such a great person to be around!!

I did find that DR's wedding was $$ that is why I originally went with Jamaica, it wasn't $$ plus if you had 5 rooms booked the wedding was free. But then it started adding up.. if you have more then 8 people (which you will if you have 5 rooms book) you have to pay $25 p/p for cake and wine to toast. That wasn't including any kind of reception. So when I went back and looked at DR I found a package or $1300 but there was no min or max amount of guest, plus I get a sit down dinner reception for that. Including everything.. I figured it would have come close enough. Plus the resort I picked in Ocho Rios was in a cruise ship port bay!!!! nothing like varadero. The last resort I went to, I can say the food was bad in varadero.. I came home and realized I had lost 13 lbs in 7 day trip. But the other 2 resorts were fine. I guess everyone looks at the DW differently.. I was looking for something for everyone and the food being good, I just want everyone to be happy and enjoy their vaca.. I don't want to hear a single complaint while I am there from the guest lol

Ah, that's something else I need to look into this weekend! lol... But yes - we leave the 22 and get married the 28, with our guests leaving the 29. We don't have flight times yet, so I just hope everyone doesn't have to leave too early on the 29th. Then we move to Dreams also on the 29th! So excited. Your parent's in -law are staying as well for 2 weeks? You'll def have to let me know how Dreams turns out.. are you going to Dreams Punta Cana, or Palms ? When I called our City Hall here for info for legal ceremony, they said it takes 2 months. Not sure how different it'll be for you.. but def something to get looking in to. Got a treadmill for Xmas so now there are no more excuses! How is everyone doing? I got great news over the holidays. My cousin is now coming to the wedding with her boyfriend Ted who just happens to be a photographer! We were not planning to get professional photos done since my brother in law is great at photography and my FI's daughter is studying photography now. However, Ted has offered to do our photos as a wedding present so that will be awesome! We can have guests take photos and he can take some too! Is anyone doing the disposable camera thing? I still love the idea of guests snapping shots of each other throughout the evening. Anyone else thinking of disposable cameras on the table? Happy New Year to you as well!!! Ohh nice, those suckers are $$$ (trendmills) but they work. I got a Wii for xmas and I've been working out harder on this then i have in my totaly 3-4 months of working out on my own at home. Ohhh so lucky, what a nice gift to get.. plus I am sue it'll help him promotte his work!! I cant wait to see how your pics turn out. I was thinking of the camera's. But I keep going back on how much I am spending. I am doing the OOt bags ($15 p/p or couple.. depending on if they are coming alone) i was going to do lanterns but then figured I am doing 2 weeks and my plane changed from A/C to A/T (and they have a lot less baggage allowance) I will skip the laterens and go for 'mint to be' on the table. Camera's are about 5-7$ That's add up to much for me at 23 guest. Great idea tho.

I was afraid some people may not want to come because it's cuba and it's not known for their food. It is hard to find a great resort with great food at all times (but again that's any country/resort you go to) I've been to Cuba 3 times and 3 different resorts.. best being Sandals (and thats an adult only resort, I was looking for something for everyone) I never really look forward to eating down there(except at Sandals, I actually miss the food sometimes lol).. just the beach is amazing and to die for and I really wanted people to enjoy everything. So far so good tho,the resort I picked has nothing but good reviews for the food. Don't get me wrong, we will still vacation in Cuba ( a lot) we love it there and we can tolerate the food (not everyone can/could)

I'm trying to get her to post on Etsy so that I can recommend her here. oh that would be amazing!!! can't wait to see them. Thank so much!!! Ohhh that's so nice.. I wish I knew a jewellery maker , that would have been nice. You can kind of personalize them a little bit to fit each personlitay

Well I love your idea. I don't blame you 2 for never wanting to jump into the big drama in just planning a wedding . I can understand why it'd be very nice in your situation to have it just the 2 of you. I think it'll be very nice. I personally can't wait to see your pictures. We originally booked Jamaica, but then soon came to the realization if we wanted people to come Jamaica wasn't going to be the place as it's more expensive, but if we were doing what your doing we could have So here we are getting married in Punta Cana. Congrates!!!
