I know how much of a weight that gets lifted off your shoulders when you finally book your wedding at the resort with a firm date and time (about the TA and their quote) See the problem with that is, a lot of guest don't know their plans until closer to the time, or ppl have taken their summer vacation so by Oct, they're not sure of their vacation time (or at least that was our guest's problem) And I know from being an experince traveller the price of packages go down in price a lot closer to the time. And chances of a resort being fully booked is unlikely. Have you consider being your own TA in since and just putting up a website with all sorts of travel info, this way guest can book when they have the money or closer to the time. (a lot of people don't like booking far advance, knowing anything can happen as well) I do understand that you wouldn't get anything free if you went this route though (I.E free room if you get XX amount of ppl to book, ect..) Are you currently aware of # of guest who are coming and willing to pay a deposit now?! because if you know for a fact you wont be ablet gwt 15 ppl to put a deposit then you know paying that price isn't worth it. Congrats!!!!!!!!!!! I know how hard it can be to lose weight especially under a lot pressure and stress!! Keep up the good work!!! Again congrats!!!! We can't go back there without staying at the royal section now, I'm still hopeful we can still go for our anniversary and stay at the roya again. The service is just so amazing, but besides that I couldn't imagine being there and not being able to go to the royal gourmet restaurant!!! If it's in your budge, dooo it!!! if not the other sides are amazing too!!

I say a few months before your wedding go ahead and ask her to reconfirm, she'll have more of an idea a little closer to your date.

Hi guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm soooo sorry for the delay in reply!!!! I missed out on a lot it looks like. Been a hectic week with the house inspection, bank appointments and recovery. Now I'm currently trying to get rid of our apartment we just renewed our lease on. Soo much work.. still have to find boxes (did you know they actually charge you now!!!! no more grocery stores or anything like that) The box sounds amazing!!!!!!!!! good for you for not just saying it and never getting it done, you did it!! (I do that too often lol) I am sure it'll come in handy (not just for arguments, but for fun/love as well!!!) The album book I'm doing the same thing. Wal-mart in my opinion has the best prices. I've done research on line (for me since I'm in canada) the main cost was shipping. Def check out wal-mart, they have all sorts of different covers (hard,soft, colours) Sooooo my surgery went super well (just the minor hiccup of ending back in the hospital hours after they released me. I had a bad reaction to the anastasia) but I went back, they gave me morphine which stabilizes me, and sent me back home later on that afternoon (the day after my surgery) I'm not sure how many of you are aware of endometriosis, but you can be diagnosed unless they do this surgery (the surgery is actually explore, if you get a good doct.. they will burn/cut away the cell if they see them right away, as suppose to some doc who want to go back in later the burn them away) I had a good doctor who burned them as he saw them. I went into this surgery not exactly knowing if I had it or not (I just knew I did tho) In fact I have a serve case of endo, so bad the cells pushed my ovary to the wall of my intestines (hence the reason we didn't get pregnant on our honeymoon, yup we tried) So he was able to clear all the cells (I'm currently endo free) he was also able to push the ovary back to normal. His very confident that I should have at least a few pain free periods (the more menstrual cycles the more they come back) and I should have 0 problems conceiving now (not that we want to try right now, with the whole house....in a perfect world we'll still trying again next year) however with waiting another year I may have to go back to do the surgery to clean all the cells that grew over the past year. I was scared to go in the surgery basically for the recovery.. I hate just sitting around I need to move. It was nothing like I thought it'd be... I was back on my feet the very next day. So I wold have no problems doing the surgery again if I needed to. The only annoying part is the stitches that fall out on their own... WHEN!!!!? the are very itchy now (better then hurting like before though) Thank you all so much for being so caring, and asking how it went. I appreciate it soo much!!!! Now maybe I can move on for awhile,get on with my life and enjoy!!! even maybe get a job!!! What is everyone else been up to? How is everything Nat with the hubby living in your space? Hope it's all going well.

sorry!! I didn't realize you had long nails!! acryic is a type of fake nail though! so if you already have nails, why not just do a french menicure? That'd be a lot cheaper!!! but but but, the nail polish may chip..especially with the salt water and sun. So if you went with acryic, you'd be sure they wouldn't chip (and $50 is actually pretty cheap!) I know it's a lot of money do to the nails (I paid $190 for nails, toes and eye brow threading) but it was worth it (I'll never do it again but it was my wedding)

My nails are real... I just did a french manicure on them (but the gel nail polish) I say go for the freak nails... and cut them short enough, they wont break... it's a promise!!! and the paint wont chip for at least 3 weeks. Even though I have real nails, I should have done the fake ones, to assure none of the polish would chip. I'M SOOOOOOOOO EXCITED FOR YOU I'll be thinking about you on your day!!!! Now go pack!!! lol

I say go for the first one, and make it a point to have the song on one of your random mix cd's when you play in the car( so you will hear it every once and awhile and remind you of your day) Seems like the way you explain the songs the first one means a little more to you! ? I can't believe your big day is just right around the corner... we'll miss you here for the next 2 weeks!!!

It'll be much more expensive to do throuh the resort, your best option is definitely to have it booked before your there. I can't recommend a specific room location...they'll all great. I say the Bavaro is a little far from everything though, especially if you get a room deep in. Most of our guest stayed on the Punta Cana side because it was a lot cheaper. I had 1 guest on the Palac side. Everyone had basically the same room and loved it. So I suggest going with the cheaper side for your guest. Since it doesn't matter they can use all of the resorts!! Whens your big day?! you should put it on your info!!!

Hi!!! I say stay away from ami-fer!!! worse service EVER a dozen different times from my experience. I bought my dress in St-Dorothee, it's a store that only sells bridal gowns. Very professional.....trying to think of the name...... I'll get back to you I'll go look for it!! Do you u have an idea of what you want, or what designer? WHat I did was went on to a website from T.O that has mostly all of the designers...went through them all, so when I went to a store I knew what I wanted to try on. Which help me find a store that sold that designer (not all stores carry all designers)
