We won’t be using a travel agent…. One of the main reasons we decided not to use one was that we will be staying at a smaller resort with only 40 rooms…. Also, we will be paying for about 20-25 ppl to stay at the hotel are self and didn’t see the real need to have a TA… I live in FL and most of my friends/family already have passports (although I don’t..lol) so they wouldn’t need much help on that end. I debate with using one or not using one for a really long time and recently came to the conclusion not to use one. I think it has a lot to do with where you choose to stay and what you will actually need to utilize them for. A lot of pple choose to use them because it’s less stressful for them. I do see the benefit of having one but I just don’t think it would have been that beneficial in my situation.

So I don’t think I’ve ever check in…lol BUT here I am!!!!!! I’m having my first baby… I’m supper excited!!!! I want him to come already but he’s not due till Feb He’s a lil shy most ppl cant even tell I’m pregnant...

Chaklit- Have you looked at the The Ruins At the Falls it’s a restaurant…it was a place I was considering because was having the issue of a lot of my guest already being in JA because that’s where my FH is form….I tried to upload the menu so you could see the prices but for some reason i couldnt you can PM ur email and i'll send it to you....I did some calculations and I couldn’t get the prices for under 5,000 for 200 for dinner… I did get pretty close for lunch though.

The reason we choose Rodel Village over Coral Cove was that my FH had a big issue with all the rocks that were displayed in the photos and that they did not actually have a beach although he is from there he though that most of our guest would enjoy the beach in Negril better. I did a survey and my MOH and mother both agreed that it looked more rocky and that the other beach looked MUCH nicer. Also when we were talking to a potential photographer she described coral cove as being in a bush… She said the resort was really NICE though… But my FH was discussing with her other things we plant on doing like going to the club/night life and she stated that we would not find any in close vicinity of coral cove. She suggested that we check out other resort in Negril and that’s what we did and fell in love with Rodel Village. The review of both resort are great on tripadvisor!

I don’t know if getting a used wedding dress is an option for you but I found this site today actually while I was looking for online wedding vendors (Preownedweddingdresses.com) it’s a pretty cool site. I’m sure you probably already know about David’s Bridal to me they have some pretty awesome dresses my niece who just got married last sat found an amazing dresses there for only $100 (it was marked down) and honestly if she wouldn’t have told me how much the dress was I would have thought that she spent a lot more on it. Happy dress hunting its fun! I just started.

CONGRATS!!! I completely know the filling I was temp at my job up until earlier this month and was SO happy to be getting a paycheck from the company and not the temp agency!!!

DIAMONDPOOCH, Thanks for sharing as we recently decided not to use a TA either mainly because we are having our wedding at such a small resort and paying for are bridal party to come and parents. My FH is from Jamaica so most of his family is already there we just decided that it was the best option for us! I’m sure I’ll get plenty of ideas from your letter I thought it was great.

I’ve change locations penalty of times before but we’ve found what were looking for… I’ve had like 3 different wedding dates…lol we actually have to get the STD’s reprinted be cause of our last change of location and date but we couldn’t be happier! We’ve chosen to have are wedding at a small hotel in Negril called Rondel Village…. I fell in love with the site and there wedding coordinator has been awesome and the still had 10.10.10 open which was a basic deal closer  now that we’ve picked the date and sent the deposit I can get down to real planning, ultra exciting!

Congrats and welcome! I’m not sure what you exactly looking for but Coral Cove in Little Bay is about 10 miles from Negril… My FH and I are seriously considering moving are wedding from ROR to here. It is a much smaller private type of hotel but some of the benefits which is making us thinking about changing are minds are the tripadvisor reviews, the wedding dinner is included for FREE for everyone that is staying at the hotel (the options are great!), affordable rates, FREE bonfire (not that I care but my FH wants one).

Has any one got married at Coral Cove in Little Bay or maybe just visited? I tried doing a search and didn’t find much information on here about and am just looking for some advice about this hotel.
