Hi all, So I have 3.5 weeks until my site visit at Dreams! I'm getting so excited to see the resort and meet with Ana in person. I'm going to start putting together a list of questions for her and some things that I want to make sure to check out while I am there. Please let me know if there is anything in particular that you want me to try and get answers to or take pictures of.

So, hopefully it looks good To post pictures, you have to upload your picture to photobucket. After you upload your picture, copy the IMG code under the picture and paste it into your post. Here is a thread that explains it too: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...ok-here-16832/ Thanks for the link. I'm going to try this.

I like that color blue too. I think i have also ordered a swatch that is similar. Orange flowers will look pretty! I don't love orange, but from the pictures I have seen of orange weddings...i have really grown a liking to them! It alsmost makes me want to change my whole color scheme! The bright colors are so beautiful! Are you tieing the orange accent into anything else at your wedding, or just the flowers?

Wondering if anyone knows if one colour is better than another for the tropical background or not? I've been looking at bright tropical colors, like POOL. I also really like the Tiffany blue but so far, the BM dresses that i have looked at do not come in this color. I would normally not go with a bright color but from the pictures I have seenm it just really looks nice against the sand the ocean. I think my accent color will be chocolate, but not sure where that color is going to be. I'm not sure on flowers yet. I don't know how to mix match my colors. I may just do calli lilies, because I think they are beautiful. Here's my BM dress (on the right): 644 I have ordered swatches of blue so that I can decide on the exact color. By the way, does anyone know how to insert a photo into the message? I tried but don't think it worked.

I had heard that the beach wedding was set up in a very private part of the resort. The picture does not show this. It almost seems as though the Gazebo is more private. I will be interested to read the reviews from brides who have gotten married there. Hopefully they will start posting their review on this site (or at least on Facebook).

The problem is that the stores alway have about 2 or 3 sizes too big and we have to clip it and just imagine what it will look like. So we never really are able to see how they will look. I like chiffon too. My bridesmaids are drawn to the satin and charmeuse. I didn't care for the satin as it seemed to formal for my beach wedding. I wanted something more flowy and light weight.

My FI bought my ring on Bluenile.com. He did research and it got very high ratings. They charge less because there is very little overhead. The ring is beautiful! We got it appraised by a local jewelry appraiser and it was appraised at much more than he purchased it for. Additionally, there was not any tax on it. I would highly recommend looking on their website. They allow you to return the product if you get it and are not happy with it. We will probably get our wedding bands there too. I was told by the appraiser that the stores in the mall charge the most because they have the highest overhead. Next is the stand alone brick and mortar stores. And online charges the least. Good luck!

Like I said, it's beautiful, but it's hard to pull off unless you have the body for it. It doesn't have any structure and it is very lightweight. It falls against the body and hugs your curves. Stiffer fabrics like taffeta and satin can hold shape and are much more forgiving. Don't you think because this is a baby doll dress that it will not fit so snug against the curves? Does chiffon fit better?

The dress comes with a liner attached.

Hi all! I have a question and want to get everyone's opinion on this. I have purchased my wedding gown. It is taffeta and has rosettes but no beading or rhinestones. I am considering the following charmeuse bridesmaid dress from Jordan Jordan 644 644 I have heard from a couple of people that it is better to have the same material for the bridesmaid dresses and the wedding gown. I have also heard that it doesn't matter. The Jordan dress is not super fancy so this may be an exception, but I just would like to get everyone's opinion. I was going to try and do a POLE but not sure how that works.

I lucked out and my dress is a light satin as well. Thanks. I think I will post that question on a separate thread. I know that there are not really any "rules" on this. But I would like to see everyone's opinions. I do want it to throw and look good together.

We held a block of 20 rooms. When people book, they only have to put down $150 to reserve their room. We also held seats on a flight, which we did have to put money down for, however, if the seats do not get taken before December 1, we can sell them back to the airline and I get all of my money back and do not lose any money (we had to put $50 per seat down). Thanks. My TA did say something about how you could get a block of rooms if I put money down on airline seats. Unfortunately, my group will be flying in on different days and from different locations. Oh well. Hopefully my guests will not have any problems getting a room. That is my main concern. It would be nice if we were all near eachother, but more importantly, I want to make sure that the rooms do not sell out. Some of my guests are waiting to make their reservations because they are not sure on the "roommate" situation yet and do not want to commit to anything until they know if they are bringing a date or not.

It also takes some stress away from me because he is keeping track of who booked and when they are traveling! I think I would be lost doing this all myself Hi Laura, Did you have to put a deposit down on the block of rooms? I'm trying to understand how this works. I would really like a block of rooms but I don't know how many people will be coming yet and I don't want to be responsible for putting any money down on their rooms. Let me know how that works! Thanks,

I mainly used a travel agent to help me find a resort that had a wedding package that I liked and was within the price range I was looking for for my guests. My travel agent contacted all of the different resorts and when we decided on dreams, she contacted the wedding coordinator to get more specific questions answered and to obtain the contract. She has been a lot of help. Hopefully my guests will contact her when they are ready to book their travel.

The only thing that I would suggest is make sure that there is a liner underneath the dress. The dress does have a liner. What material is your gown? One person told me that the bridesmaids shouldn't wear satin unless the gown is satin. Mine is taffeta. Has anyone heard of that?

Hi, Has anyone chosen Charmeuse fabric for your bridesmaid dresses? I was thinking of doing chiffon but my bridesmaids really like the Charmeuse. I like the look of this too but I have 2 concerns: 1. Is it too fancy if I want my groomsmen to wear ivory button down shirts with brown linen pants? The dress will be some type of turquoise color. 2. Will the fabric cling to the body or balloon up in the wind? Any thoughts that you would have would be greatly appreciated! I'm anxious to make my decision I'm not sure how to make the image work, so here is the link to Jordan 644 and 672. http://www.jordanfashions.com/ShowDr...&photoid=25483

It is a bit confusing but I hope to get it all straightened out in the next few days!!! I would love to see these documents. Would you be able to email me? I will send you a private message with my email address.
