My wedding is October 2010, finding out this June is giving LOTS of time to save and plan. Thanks guys. I'm sure I'll get some phone calls wondering what it is, but thats okay. Just wondering if anyone else had the same issue lol

Oh wow, we just moved from Oshawa to Whitby in March lol I know the purpose of the Save the Date, but I was afraid it would cause some confusion with the let's say "older" people my family who aren't too familiar with what it might be. I was going to put on them, Invites to follow. So I guess that's good enough.

Hey, So I know this will probably sound funny but I know some in my family are going to be confused by the whole "Save the Date" Card. And probably 99% of them will have never heard of it before. We plan on sending out our Save the Dates in June sometime, for our wedding next October. I know some family members are going to be a little confused as to what a Save the Date card is. So my question is, has anyone sent a little explanation card explaining what the purpose or what exactly is a Save the date Card? And thats it's not the actual invite. (I know some are going to think it is the invite...) Silly I know, but I know it's going to arise in my family lol Thanks!!

What a gorgeous dress!! I think I'm going to check out David's Bridal aswell. And I think I'm going to skip the massages while we're there LOL My friend got married there in January of this year, and her and her husband missed their massage because of something and were upset about it. I'm going to fill her in and let her know it was probably a blessing they had to miss it lol Too funny!

All those bouquets are just beautiful. So I really don't think I'll be disappointed at all! I truly want White Roses for mine. Always been a dream of mine ot have a White Rose bouquet. Sounds simple, but it's my favourite flower. Although I did want Orange to be one of my wedding colours. Orange is just so tropical, and I truly want a tropical wedding. I'm really loving Hibiscus flowers right now. (I'm actually looking to buy a tree for my house)

Alright that sounds good. How many days were u there before you got married? how long does it take them to make them? The way I'd like my bouquet is very simple really.

We didn't do professional Engagement pics either. I agree with everyone, have a friend do it or something. I think that's what I'll do, get my sister to take a couple nice shots. I'm not really using them for anything.
