Even if you end up having to take an extra bag with you, it may actually cost you less and give you less hassle than trying to ship everything down to the resort. At least if anything happens while you are traveling, you will be prepared.

Congrats and welcome! I don't know much about Jamaica, but I know that most of the resorts in Mexico will work with you to create an individual look. At least that is what I was told! Hopefully there is a resort in Jamaica that can help you out. Good luck and happy planning.
