I just looked at Malisa's review and she's got some pics on there you should check out, but there's only a few with everyone. Hopefully they'll notice this thread and reply to you! Good luck!

Hmmm.... I think I might have to make a trip as well!!! Hopefully Canada has them too! -
Ya I still like that idea, or like a "champagne" colour maybe? But that might be harder for everyone to find.... do you have a small guest list? I'm not one to like being in the spotlight, my wedding is probably the ONLY time I actually WANT to stand out, so I can totally understand where you're coming from!!! But the pics do look cool! I saw them on here somewhere and it looked beautiful, and the bride just held a really gorgeous bouquet (sp?) the whole time. ~ April

If you have a group booking for a week, can one person staying less nights still be included in this? Did that make sense? Haha

I've seen pics of all-white weddings and think they look amazing. You can use flowers as splashes of colour and it looks super classy. I was thinking about it but have too many guests to ask for it. If you have a smaller guest list it could be easily done.

I'm pretty early myself but I can't help it, it's so fun reading all these posts! I've been compiling tips! I've added myself to Nov 2010 but am heading down this November to check everything out, which means I might be spying on either Jamie or Jennifer's weddings!!! We haven't set an actual day yet, just thinking first or second week of Nov. ~April ________________ ~2009~ April 2009 May 2009 *M & L* - May 13, 2009 June 2009 Ashley -- June 30th 2009 July 2009 August 2009 September 2009 October 2009 November 2009 smith3576 Nov 3, 2009 (Jamie) Jennifer_Katherine - November 10, 2009 VancouverPVBride-- Nov 27th, 2009 (good idea)! I'm not sure which carrier it ended up being, just that it was through Jubilee Travel (ie- Travel Best Bets) and it was through the groups co-ordinator there. The best rate I found for THIS year for just the two of us was about $1300 pp including tax for one week. That was through Alaska Air and I have NO idea why they were so much cheaper than the other websites. Everyone else was about $1600. It's frustrating to know there are good deals out there but you just can't quite seem to get ahold of them! I almost want to become a travel agent so I can learn the tricks!
-
Ya even the travel agent was like, "these are reaaaallly good prices for how far away it is." I wish it was possible to save that rate! What did you end up getting your package for for this November? Me and the FI are going to dreams early November to check it out but the rates seem pretty high right now.... maybe if I wait til it's a little closer to book....

My dress came in! *pics*

Wow you totally suit that dress, it's beautiful and I love the sexy back! -
MayanBride, I noticed you're from BC so I thought I'd share a group quote I got from Travel Best Bets (ie- Jubilee Travel out of Van). The quote was for Nov 2010 (super early to book yet) but she was able to secure some good prices for me. It was a package out of Vancouver including flight, hotel (Dreams PV) & transfers and was for about $1100 per person, plus about $250 in taxes. These are great prices, especially for so far away. You needed 10 people to book to get this rate. I didn't book cause it's just too far away, plus I want to go to Dreams this year to really check it out before I actually book the wedding there. Just thought I'd share what I found so far.

OOT Bags - Finished!!!! :o)

OOooh that magic magnet thing looks pretty cool! Great idea! -
Hey guys, I have a question about something on the Dreams website. On one page it says you have to be in Mexico 4 "business" days before your ceremony (not including your arrival date) and on another it says only 2 days before. Which is it? 4 seems pretty ridiculous. If we want to travel together as a group we'd ALL have to be there 4 days before and I'm sure some people will only come for a week which means if we went on a Thursday for example, the wedding couldn't be until the following Thursday...? How does that make sense?? It would be the day people were leaving?? Or if it is 4, I guess we'd just have to go down before everyone else since we'll be staying two weeks....

(Can I skip the pics and hang with the guests??)

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know I've decided on Dreams PV!!! I just love the mountains in the background, the sunset every night, and the proximity to PV if people want to go into town (it's also kid-friendly). I just hope I can find a good TA now so my guests can get the best deal!!!

Aaronsgirl Planning Thread! PICS

Then just print what you want, cut and stick! I wanted to do that but since I didn't know exactly what we would be able to get I simplified to just tags:) Thanks for the info on how to create stickers, I think I'll try to be a **little** creative and make some! -

Our TA went through Pleasant Vacations to book our rooms since we didn't have the $100 per room deposit required if blocking rooms at the hotel. Yes, Rebeca did say that I am getting my wedding package for free as well I am getting the honeymoon package for booking so many rooms. I decided I did not need a lot of the extras that came with the other two packages and would be going off site for decorations and flowers. Hope this helps! Jaclyn Good to hear you've had a good experience with the Dreams WC. I just need to get a good TA so my guests can get the best deal possible cause there are some complaining about the cost. I'm not too concerned with any other extras, I'm happy with the palm tree design they do around the arch-thingy. But I do think the mariachi trio would be pretty cool. What are you doing for the reception? Is it included in the package? And how bout music & dancing for later?
