    I have booked mine..and while it is over a month away, I am already nervous! I almost considered canceling it! I think the photographers are going to know we are nervous, and will hopefully have lots of good suggestions for poses, etc. I think the biggest problem for me is going to be keeping a serious and sexy face, haha.

    Hi - I am getting married at Beaches Boscobel in January, and was wondering if anyone could recommend a photographer to come in for the day. We were going to go with one of the Beaches photographers, but I don't know about that. The other issue is getting an outside vendor in there...I am pretty sure you have to pay for them to stay....but has anyone had any luck getting someone in just on a day pass? Thanks!

    I recently also briefly considered switching my resort...and my travel agent told me it was possible, aside from a $50 fee for those who had already booked...even if it was a different resort. If you do decide to switch it up, then the guests who have already booked probably wouldn't mind this fee if they are saving all around. Good luck! I hope everything works out.

    Hi everyone - I am getting married at Beaches Boscobel on 1/9/10. I was just wondering what your experiences were with it being a family resort. I personally would have preferred an adults-only....but my fiance's brother wanted to bring his kids. Now my parents just booked (through a different travel agent) and asked them why we picked this resort since it is so family oriented. What are your thoughts on this, and how did you feel when you were there? I don't mind children, but the way this TA described it sounded pretty extreme. Thanks!!!

    Hi there! I just got engaged a little over a week ago, but since then I have totally been reading through this site. So far, the information has been SO helpful! My fiancee and I always said we would do a destination wedding, and now we are faced with the difficult task of picking a resort. We are definitely doing Jamaica, just not sure which one yet. We hope to get married on or around 1/8/10, so there isn't much time to spare. Anyway, my name is Erin - I just wanted to say hello and thank you for all of this great information.
