I know that feeling you're having, to a much lesser degree...My grandpa had heart surgery, and then proceeded to break his hip about a month before my cousin's wedding - it was awful timing, and he was supposed to walk down the aisle, etc., and the planning just had to go on. He ended up not being able to fly to the wedding and was still in rehab, but, for that day we all focused on the bride and groom.

You could also add Advil, Pepto bismol, tums, all those kinds of "medicine-related" items, sunscreen? I agree with finleys7 to check the OOT thread, there is tons of great info!

Hi everyone! My FI and I are getting married on April 17 at the Grand Palladium Palace in Punta Cana. I am going dress shopping for the first time around the 4th when I have some time off from work. So far we've found the resort (that was a big chunk of time), and the STD is finished, I just have to pick up the supplies since we are DIY-ing it ourselves.

Has anyone used Best free online wishlist, wedding registry, baby registry | Wishpot for their registry? It seems like a neat concept that ties sites together and lets guests pick the item at the lowest price.

That's the next city which will have their own series...that's all I've heard, does anyone know more?

My parents were there for their site visit - they liked that it was only one wedding per day there. I'll look at their notes when I get home and see what else is valuable that they said.

We finally chose a resort! After A LOT of back and forth, we decided on the Grand Palladium, and since only adults are attending, we will be staying at the Royal Suites Turquesa. I have to thank you all again, all of your advice has been invaluable in planning our wedding!

I slept on it...which helps, and we are going with Palladium. Thank you all so much for helping me think through it! I'm SO EXCITED now!!
