Ooo thanks for that link, I'll definitely check it out!! We are SO indecisive right now...not sure if we should do the cruise thing or an all-inclusive in Mexico. Decisions!!!

Thanks, Allie! We're taking care of the legal stuff beforehand as well, as that seemed to be a way to eliminate at least some of the stress.

I just talked to Ann Marie w/Weddings in the Bahamas. They seem extremely accommodating and very professional. We don't have a set number of people yet, but she said they are very flexible if its just a few people over the "2-8 people" package that we're selecting. And the pricing really pretty much STOMPS what I've seen from Norwegian. Anyway, just wanted to add that I'm working with Ann and she is very nice.

Thanks so much shortnsweet!! I'm really thinking about going with an on-site planner, but this gives me lots of stuff to read & research. I didn't even see this NCL wedding guide, so thanks SO much!! I tried to call them today & of course they're closed b/c of the weekend. So, this gives me a ton of stuff to look over! I heart this site. :0)

I'm newly engaged and my fiance & I REALLY want to go the cruise wedding route. We aren't sure about which cruise line to choose...I have a brochure from NCL but its just their general cruise brochure and doesn't have much wedding info. How did you cruise ladies choose lines? We really want to do the 3-day cruise from Miami-Nassau but not sure which line to choose. I also really like the idea of a beach location, but not sure about the logistics of it all. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks ladies

Beauty, that is very odd indeed!! I made Lifetime in August of 2004 and it took me almost to the day 13 months to lose 65 pounds, so it is a slow process but you usually lose at least 1 pound per week (they say 1-2 pounds a week loss is healthy). I have a few questions, although I am by no means an expert. I am just someone who has followed the WW plan for almost 6 years and being overweight my entire life, I know it is the only thing that keeps my weight in check. Do you attend meetings at a WW Center? If so, you might talk to one of the consultants because you must be a Lifetime member to work for WW. Also, you might have them double check that you are eating the correct amount of points. Since you are not gaining any weight, I would say you are maybe eating "Maintenance" points, which might be too many to actually lose any weight. Just have them double check, or you should be able to consult your start-up materials to double check yourself. This is a starting place...if you check your points (or have them check just in case) and they seem to be correct, what I'd say is 1) make sure you REALLY drink allllll the water you're supposed to per day and 2) try to incorporate daily exercise and DON'T use your activity points!! Every time I hit a plateau, I would do this with moderate exercise (don't burn 700 calories and not use the activity points, that'd be starving yourself) and it would give me a boost. Ok, sorry this is a novel!! I just don't want you to get discouraged. WW changed my life and I really hope it can work for you too! Hang in there, sweetie. Liz

Jaclyn, Thank you SO much for your review!!! I'll be adding you to facebook too so I can check out your pics. :0) I have read more than one negative review on the PV Dreams food. Seems very silly to create such a wonderful getaway spot and not have at least "great" food...I mean, amazing, wonderful, perfect food is a LOT to hope for, but you shouldn't have any major complaints like "the beef tasted funny." That just seems strange to me, like does the resort not receive any feedback from couples after the fact? Anyway, I know its not all about the food but its pretty important. I think its part of the whole experience and if your family and friends is flying that far, the least they can have waiting is an awesome meal. Thanks again for your review. I'm still VERY early in my research but I'm liking the pictures I've seen of Turks & Caicos very much...any thoughts?
