Hi girls!! I haven't been on here in quite some time but I have been reading all the posts. I too am a little concerned about the recent review of the resort. We are getting married on March 13, 2010, and I am a little nervous! We should have about 50 people coming with us for the wedding and I will be so upset if we have any kind of horror stories. I would also like to know what rooms have been renovated and which rooms to stay away from. I also wanted to know how the resort handled the problems. Were they more than helpful to switch rooms? Did they disregard the problems or did they go out of their way to make it right? I am about 67 days away from the wedding and I am a little concerned!!! Thanks! Amy

I also booked Photo Souvenir for our wedding on March 13 and I am so excited! I've heard nothing but wonderful things about them! I still haven't given them the deposit yet, they haven't asked for it yet. I have the signed contract, but no deposit yet. Am I the only one experiencing this? Amy

Hey girls!! I am getting close to ordering wedding invitations and need some help. I found the invitations I want to order, but I am a little unsure what to have put on the reception cards or what to include for the inviations. Obviously a response card...we are having a private reception, but as you all know, we won't know where until we get to the resort. Should I include a reception card? I was going to print on cardstock a reminder about the resort and passport website information. Any suggestions for what I should put on the reception card? Maybe...Dinner Reception at the Resort and something about details to follow upon arrival at Dreams Punta Cana? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! Amy

They are a little expensive, but I have read great reviews about them! I was a little nervous about using an iPod, knowing my luck, something would go wrong. Hi! I am getting married at Dreams on March 13, 2010, and I had a few questions about reception tables and chairs and wondered if anyone knew the dimensions for the tables and chairs. I wanted to put bows around the back of the chairs and maybe add something to the tables, but didn't know how much material we needed. Strange question I know, but just wondered what some of you were doing for decorations at the reception. Thanks! Amy

Hi there! I am using PhotoSouvenir for our photographer! I have heard great things about them. Go to their website and take a look at some of their pictures...I fell in love with their style of photography. If you do decide to use them, they do book up fast...just to let you know!! Good luck!

I am having a lot of the same issues...I think I have a few resorts narrowed down, but I am waiting on the TA to get back to me with pricing for us and our guests. I am looking at a wedding date in February 2010 in Punta Cana or Cabo San Lucas. Just waiting from the TA to see what our best options will be!
