It makes me so sad. I couldn't imagine having to identify my husband's body especially just days after being married. I am devastated for all of the families. I actually have 2 co-workers at the resort right now and was very happy to hear that they are safe.

great idea!! I wore a Maggie gown that has just the lace part for the train and it looked so beautiful in the sand.

I am selling the headband / necklace / earrings / bracelet I wore on my wedding day. They are all silver tone. The headband was $150 at Ethos Bridal. The necklace and earring set were $165 at Brides International. The bracelet was $30 from Le Chateau. Everything is in great condition. Set of 4: $110 Can be sold all together or separately. I have 109 chair sashes available for purchase. There are 54 Green Apple Organza sashes and 55 in the Aqua colour. I also have 10 aqua table cloths and 11 green apple cloths. All are in great condition. Paid $250 for all pieces. Honestly, there were 15 of us in total at my Mexican wedding and it was a blast! You don't need a lot of people. I see some girls on here have over 40 attendees and I would not have been happy with that. Too many people to keep track of

I feel really bad for you If it makes you feel better my dad, who didn't come to Mexico for our wedding, decided not to come to my AHR because he was working. I was pretty devastated considering he was one of the main reasons I chose to have the reception in the first place. My dad has A LOT of money so that definitely wasn't the issue. Also like you, I have worked 2 jobs for the last 16 months to pay for the wedding and AHR. I have been watching your journey on BDW and you were such an inspiration to me to keep, your head high and enjoy the day YOU worked hard to create. In the end, you did it all for you and your hubby.

I wore a pale gold wedding dress at my AHR and I wore gold jewellery. I personally didn't think white gold matched. Yes, my ring is white gold but I wasn't too concerned about it.

I love those! I wish they delivered to Canada!

I'm glad everything is turning out for you ladies. Its so wierd now that everything is done and over with for me I'm not constantly stressing. But I miss the excitement of it all

I ordered the boxes off 30 from Oriental Trading. They are super cheap and were perfect! And I had no problem shipping them to Canada

Don't worry. I would come on here all through my planning process and be so jealous and in awe of all of these ladies that had amazing crafting abilities. Things would have never come together if it weren't for my friends who are artsy.

islandbride, the lady that did my wedding cake made the coral out of icing and it turned out pretty fantastic. I posted a pic of it in the "show us your cake" thread. i think its on the last page.

Congrats! I got married at Sandos. It was the perfect wedding! You will love it. We used Sascha Gluck for our photos and he was amazing.
