We had the same thing happen to us with the airlines nor customs told us to keep the card. Thank goodness we stuffed it in with our passport so we had it on the way back. I've posted all over our wedsite and included in our pre-wedding brochure to make sure you keep this card safe while you are in Mexico. Also added notes to make sure you have a pen on the plane to fill it out.

Hi Di. People just get really dumb when it comes to weddings. I think I have posted that statement a million times this week! My brother was denied a passport and my parents have had to pay a ton of money to get it taken care of. Whatever happens with your situation will be for the best and you just have to remember that it is your wedding and about you and FI and no one else. Also, I saw some information that says any minor traveling in Mexico must carry notarized written permission from any parent or guardian not traveling with the child. So even if she gets the passport you should probably check and see what other requirements there might be to go to Mexico. Mexico Good luck!

I just that there and cried as they went through her whole story about learning to walk again and how her fiance nursed her back to health. I mean honestly, I'm worrying over passports and maracas while this couple was going through h3ll. I just realized this sounds like a downer, but really it helps keep things in perspective! Also, can you imagine spending 60K on a 50 person wedding at Dreams? My guests would have the best OOT bags ever

Yea Jill! I hope they did book!!!! Isn't it strange how friends totally jump at a DW. This wedding really has proven that you can choose your friends but not your family. It is a good day because I just talked to my dad, and my brothers passport finally got approved. Apparently my brother hadn't paid taxes from his high school/college job and his passport application was denied! OMG, my mom has been freaking out and my dad ended up paying all of his back taxes so he could get the passport! His taxes were 3 times what my parents gave us for the wedding! I feel absolutely awful about all of this and am thinking about giving them back the money they gave us. What a poopy situation

I have decided that people get really stupid about this kind of stuff so please don't apologize for them putting you in an awkward situtaion. It sounds like you have already told them what you wanted and your MoH/cousin listened while the other ladies did not. I would talk to them and say that that you really appreciate the time and effort they are putting into the shower and that you would like to only have 1 with the list you already provided. Besides... Your day is quickly approaching so do you even have the time to attend 2 parties?

Yep - P90X. I find it very hard to find the full hour so sometimes I skip out on the "bonus" rounds. I have had major results 22 pounds lost and really nice tone in 90 days. Also, I only do it about 4-5 times a week. Simply don't have the time for everything, but it really does work. Good luck and check out the work out threads for some motivation when you start working out

Hahaha - I still can't do chin ups! I'm up to 3/4 of 1 and I am really proud My motivation has been pictures! I figure these are going to be some of the only pro pics I have of us and I want to feel good about how I look in them.

We're doing cupcakes instead of cake. IMO, I think a formal cake might be too stuffy. Have fun with something like a cookie buffet with shots of milk or an ice cream sundae bar We are not getting a photog because we have done e-pics, I did BD pics and we are paying for an outside photog to come to Mexico. My friends think they are the paparazzi so we set up a photo share site on picasaweb for everyone to upload their pics. Happy planning!

I printed a bunch of stuff on my Epson CX4800 at home (luggage tags, key/tip holders, stickers). But ended up printing my invitations at Kinkos because their ink just looked like a better quality. The guys at Kinkos were super knowledgable and for some reason only charged me half price. I also tried printing at the UPS store and they sucked.
