I know I take a lot of ideas from people but then try to make them my own and give credit to the real owner (really one of the main reasons I'm on BDW). When someone takes my ideas I always try to look at it as a compliment. Weddings almost always look and feel the same anyways - ceremony, cocktail hour, reception. My e-ring is a 3 stone and i decided to have one custom made. It was a really cool experience. Like Josie, I met with the artist, he designed a sample and made a wax casting, I approved it, then the jeweler made the ring. I kinda wanted to kepp the wax casting because it was purple and looked funky with my e-ring I definitely recommend the custom band because no one else will have one like it!

Man - did p90x arms last night and I can barely type today. We started the program from day 1 ... again. Because FI had been slacking. Uhh... we only have 92 days until we leave for the wedding! Bring it ;-p

I'm with most of the other posters on here. I think the dresses look great together and wouldn't change a thing. Maybe have them wear the same shoes and jewlery to pull it together...

I agree with Yael. I have stopped worrying about those people who can't come and started focusing on those that are coming. It is way more fun that way BTW... I'm getting legally married on 10/10/09 so we are kinda date twins

Aw sweety, boys just don't get us. They never will They also have ADD regardless of what they say. Mine and FI's first wedding fight was over the groomsmen flip flops. He seriously threw a hissy hit over them - total groom-zilla moment. I love the idea of letting him do stuff and then going back and fixing it (I do it all the time and FI never even realizes it). Oh yeah - sometimes the perfection that we see and want isn't really necessary. I know thats a crazy concept because I am OCD, but when FI helps and the stuff doesn't turn out to that perfect .025 inch it is totaly worth the time we spent together working on the project )

We vacationed at Sun Palace over New Years 2 years ago and it was beautiful but definitely a lot more calm than any of the other resorts I've been to in Mexico (The Royal, Moon Palace, Riu). It was perfect for that get away from everything feeling if that is what you are going for.

Great post Lisa ) I live in Phoenix so snow is a total novelty to me... love to snowboard and visit it, but honestly I wouldn't have a clue what to do if I lived in it! Christmas this year will be mine and FI's first as a married couple. Yea! I'm with Becks - I am thinking about where to put my Christmas tree and it is hot hot hot here today. I am chuckling thinking about the tree because I bought a 13 foot red tree after Christmas last year and can't wait to see it all decorated. I totally recommend waiting to order your dress. If you are starting your work out program now and your wedding is in April, October would be the right time to order it. I was in the same boat as you and waited about 2 months from when I really wanted to order the dress and I did end up getting one 2 sizes smaller. It fits perfect now and even though I have a goal of another 15 lbs I know that my body won't change that much so alterations shouldn't be outrageous. Good luck!
