Thanks for all of the compliments! I forgot to add that I printed them at Kinkos. My home printer is great for a lot of things, but pro looking invites is not one of them. Let the printing pros do it for you!

Same thing as the other ones that are floating around on the forum, but since a lot of us overlap in the next couple of months it might be easier to get it to one another. What do you girls think? I bought LED tealights on ebay because I am afraid that it will be windy and the real ones will just blow out. The place I bought them from has floating LEDs too. Really good prices too! eBay Store - Six Star Sales: Wedding-Cristmas String LIGHTS, Battery String Fairy Light LED, Eiffel Towers Vases-All Extras Karen - cute tile idea. I hope they turn out good! Jessica - I would totally freak if we waited to make the bags when we got to MX. But I definitely think it can be done... buy bolsas, maracas and the other OOT junk then assemble. OK maybe I wouldn't freak it kinda sounds better than lugging 10 suitcases around.

I forgot to add that FI totally helped me make them. We went through a couple of bottles of wine, but it was totally worth the time spent together. Don't ask him about it because he will deny that he had anything to do with them!

Hi Desties As cliché as boarding pass and passports invites are on BDW, I have received a ton of compliments on mine (even from the single guys). So since this project was one of the main reasons I joined BDW I thought I would share and include a bunch of images for all you picture fanatics I ordered the paper from paperandmore.com and thought the company was awesome. The paper and envelopes are pearlescent metallic and I heart how shimmery they are. The only thing I would have done different is with the stupid little green vellum boarding pass envelopes. They were a PITA, but FI convinced me to make them. Last time I listen to him on DIY stuff The total cost for 150 was about $500 or a little over $3 per invite. That includes everything from the idea in the beginning to getting the RSVP card back. Enjoy! The Big Picture TBC...

So I was cleaning out my closet and ran across the “Day of Survival Kit†that I put together for my best friend when I was her MOH. Almost everything in the bag was used and everyone was amazed that I thought of bringing some of the items. I totally took the idea from about 20 different places, but hey it’s the thought that counts! Since most of us DW brides won’t have the luxury of running to the quick shop if something happens, I provided the shopping list that I used. Some things need to be modified for a DW, but it gets you started. I dumped everything into a big beach bag. This also includes the junk that I carried in my clutch for the bride during the reception. Enjoy and feel free to add to it!
