Welcome mzbmbastic: The lady who performed our ceremony spoke perfect English. She was sooo nice and everyone thought we had hired her ourselves. Shoot an email to your coordinator to see who would be assigned to your ceremony. Allyson: I put my timeline in the OOT booklet and here's the thread. We ended up modifying a bit due to weather so I listed what we actually did below. http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...booklet-59470/ 3:45-4 - seating of parents, entrance of attendants 4 - groom entrance 4:05 - bride entrance 4:10-4:30 - ceremony 4:35 - group pic at gazebo 4:40-5 - family pics on the beach, cocktail hour for other guests 5-6 - cocktail hour, we joined our guests from 5-5:30 5:30-6:30 - ttd style pics on the beach, cocktail hour for other guests 6:30 - bride and groom entrance to the party 6:30-7:30 - dinner 7:15 - tequila toast by groom 7:20 - champagne toast by bride 7:30-8 - cake 8-8:15 - first dance, father/bride, mother/groom 8:15-9:15 - dancing 9:15 - garter and bouqeut toss 9:15 - 10:30 - dancing 10 - got complaints that we were too loud 10:30 - Dreams is pretty strict about ending parties at 10:30... the entertainment team actually showed up and offered to take everyone to the bars. they do this every night, but it was nice that they knew we were done partying and come over to the terrace 10:45 - exited down the stairs 10:46 - ran back up the stairs hi fiving the guests and then jumped in the pool 10:47-11 - a bunch of guests jumped in the pool too and security showed up 11-11:30 - went back to our room for some "alone" time and to change 11:30-12 - partied at the lobby bar until they kicked us out 12-1 - partied at the sports bar until they kicked us out 1-2 - hung outside the sports bar until everyone went to their rooms and crashed

DIY - Tears of Joy Packets
autjo replied to autjo's topic in Wedding Flowers, decoration, cake, etc.
Thanks for the compliments The place I order from does not ship to Canada, but check out ebay. Search for vellum or glassine envelopes. I think the 4 Bar size is perfect for these. Or.... I'm selling the packets in my etsy boutique and I will ship to Canada ) Quote: Originally Posted by katelynn Just starting mine but I cant find the clear envelopes...I have tried Michaels and the $ store. Welcome back Mrs. Karen!!! I had stalked Fer's blog and just love the pics! The last one of you laying in the grass looks like it should be in a bridal magazine - gorgeous! I am so glad to hear that everything turned out as you expected, can't wait to see the rest of your pics And tooo funny about my OOT stuff in Rebeca's office! We gave all of the left over OOT stuff to the hotel staff and all of them were so gracious - I kinda thought they were just being nice to be nice. Congrats on a great wedding! And welcome khannan to the Dreams thread )

Hi sweetie! I just read this and realized that TODAY is your WEDDING DAY! I hope everything cleared and you had a wonderful day. It was gorgeous in Phoenix today so I'm sure everything was awesome. Congrats!!!

Great review! I think it is only natural to want to chill and not be super organized after planning a DW and an AHR and having your pics as part of the review really was worth the wait. I looove how your veil is blowing in the wind in some of the pics, it just looks beautiful. Congrats on being a gorgeous bride!

Hey Jenn ~ I know this is a little late, but hope it helps Rebeca actually reserved tables for us at the fiesta night. It was really nice and worked out perfect so we didn't have to pay for something private. We also met in the lobby outside of Rendezvous several times before dinners and just mingled and grabbed drinks from the bar, but the kids were still included. And everyone really enjoyed the private bonfire. You have to pay for it, but it is a lot cheaper than a dinner, includes marshmallows and gives your guests the chance to talk and mingle. Bring your ipod and speakers, some graham crackers and smores from Costco and you have a great private gathering. Quote: Originally Posted by simplnsweet Hi ladies...I really need some help here. Besides having a dinner off site or get the dinner catered by the resort, what do you suggest we do? We also want to do a mixer- meet and greet ahead of the dinner. We know that we likely won't be sitting all close together at dinner so we wanted to get together and just mingle before we make our way to dinner. We thought of the Rendez Vous lounge but again we have 5 children coming. Thoughts? Ideas? I'm all ears...bring it on! lol Jenn Congrats on booking! I did not work with Samantha and am not sure how things are running there now. I do know that I wished I had paid extra and got an outside coordinator because Rebeca was good, but she is more of a group coordinator. She made sure everything was together, but it would have been nice to have that "wedding" eye from a real coordinator. We had 50 people and I thought the chairs might fall off of the gazebo area. 80 will not fit sitting down because 50 was super tight. Here are some pics from couple of different angles. Happy planning! Quote: Originally Posted by m1984 Hey guys! we are now officially booked at Dreams PV for May 24, 2011. I'm a little concerned though as my main contact has been Samantha, and she is the group coordinator and I know that Rebecca is the usual wedding coordinator. Should I be worried? Rebecca was CCed originally when I first put in the request, but I stopped emailing her since my initial email came from Samantha. Should I be communicating with Rebecca instead? I'm already a little worried since she said the gazebo can fit up to 80 ppl and I have read reviews where 50 is tight..... Has anyone dealt with Samantha for planning their wedding?

Hi girls! I think Insanity is a little nutty, but it does help with your endurance. Honestly, just keep your eating in check because that workout makes me hungry but you don't burn enough to need to eat 10 pounds of junk. I just finished 7 weeks of P90X and Weight Watchers and lost 11 pounds. I took this week off and am planning on starting Insanity on Monday to switch things up a little. We've also been hiking a lot, but the temps are getting crazy hot in the desert (107 today) so back inside for a couple of months. I'm excited for a change in pace

looking for advice for AHR - backyard BBQ
autjo replied to dianep's topic in At Home Reception (AHR)
Lucy beat me to it, but we did a video of our relationship and had it running throughout the AHR. Everyone loved it and some of the old people actually watched it 2 times through! We included pics from the beginning of our relationship, e-pics, video from legal, video from mexico, some of the mexico pro pics, and some personal pics of all of the people who joined us in mexico. I also used borrowed vases, filled them with water and submerged fake flowers (from the dollar tree) in them for the centerpieces. We did a BBQ as well if you want to see pics: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...zed-ahr-54773/ -
Awww sadness. BW is the only Golden Girl left. Did you see that Rue had 6 husbands? She really was a character!

Nicole these turned out fabulous! I love the saying on the back. Your guests are going to be so impressed. Sorry about the post... I had the same thing happen to me with our "thanks for booking" packets. If you send out other items, maybe have the post office weigh each one because for some reason all of ours were different even thought they contained the exact same inserts. So weighing them separately saved us some $

DH surprised me with tickets for a pre-party and then the movie so I was super excited to go and get to hang out with one of my GFs. We had a total blast at the pre-party, but when we got to the movie the other ladies had sent scouts to save whole rows at the theater. It was way annoying, but thank goodness we had made friends and some girls land they et us sit with them. And I totally cried throughout the first movie too! And thought that the fashion was uber fabulous. But this one did feel like just a long episode. I love SATC so that wasn't a let down, but where were the bleeding edge shoes and clothes? I think the camel scene and the Dior t-shirt outfit were the most out there. Although, I did enjoy the outfits all of the ladies revealed from under the black robes, but again it felt like a tv episode. Oh and what was up with the head piece that Carrie wore for the wedding? That one just kind of confused me. Anyways, I guess in the end all of my babbling means that I do agree that you will like it if you like SATC Quote: Originally Posted by KelZavs20 i was completely let down!!!! i love sex and the city, and at the risk of sounding like a freak, the first movie made me cry like three different times!!! the second one felt like a really long episode with hardly any story line....jmo.
