    yeah i think we are just going to do the religious / spiritual ceremony and take care of the legal stuff at home beforehand. just too much of a hassle.

    I am thinking three days is fine... even if it's really 2 1/2 days... i guess it would just depend on if you are having a "legal" ceremony or not... then i think it would be three full days (and maybe week days). otherwise, it would probably depend on how early you feel you need to be there.

    our budget is 5 - 7k.... hoping to keep it in that range (excluding rings)... i'm terrified after reading these LOL. thanks so much for sharing though.... soooo helpful!

    absolutely! we've tried counseling and it has been AWESOME! we were doing to make sure we start off on the right foot. a lot of the new teachings are partially based on science and the work of john gottman... he's amazing!!! see if you can get his videos at the library and read two of this books: - the seven principles of marriage - the four horsemen The Gottman Institute -
