Just to let everyone know, I bought 3 dresses from Nordstrom and I loved all 3 of them. I have exchnaged a coulple sizes and am going to narrow down the choices after that. They are OC by Oleg Cassini Beaded Waist Halter Gown - - Nordstrom BCBGMAXAZRIA Strapless Silk Gown - - Nordstrom OC by Oleg Cassini Beaded Silk Chiffon Gown - OC by Oleg Cassini - Nordstrom Search for white and off-white occassion dresses. All of the dresses are extremely high quality fabrics. Nordstrom has such great customer service too. Returns are easy and if you take it to the store, they instantly credit your account back. Good luck shopping!

Congrats! I live in bermuda so if I can help you specifically, let me know. I love Coco Reef - I think they have great places to take pictures. The Reefs is a little bit fancier but beautiful as well. Both are looking out on the South Shore and the water is beautiful. Both places have great food as well. I would call the hotels and see who they would reccomend to help organize. Make sure you call your long distance provider first. They can charge up to $4/min for calls from the US to Bermuda. Once you get a plan (usually $4 a month), then they charge maybe 20-30 cents a minute. Good luck planning!

I thought a Karisma chain would help with the more generic questions people are having in regards to booking a wedding there. Does anyone know how their "Specials" work? I looked up the "GROUP" specials and it looks like we should get a welcome recpetion and dinner and a farewell dinner included for my wedding. I would rather use that special than the All About the Bride which was more like a rebate program it seemed. Should I just leave it to my Travel Agent to organize these deals? Anyone getting married there pick your champagne or wine choices yet? Look forward to hearing from all the Karisma brides!

Thanks everyone! I am getting them printed from Shutterfly - can't wait to see them! -
We had our friend take these pictures for us before our engagement party. He is an amateur photographer but very talented! I love them!! Mark was really annoyed with how many pictures he had to take. I warned him that the wedding would entail HOURS of photos. He still thinks I was kidding - haha Picasa Web Albums - Amy - Engagement Pi...

Does anyone know about the trip where you get to go zip-lining? I think its an all day thing..... -
The Bermuda Sun just published a "Fairtale wedding" handout in their paper with a collection of wedding info. It might be available on line. There is info on a wedding planner called To Have and To Hold weddings. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD | Home 9 Beaches... awesome!!

We're pretty laid-back people, so maybe the relatively last minute decision to do a DW has contributed to some of our dilemmas (I've seeing some girls planning for over a year on here - that is some impressive organizational skills). Fingers crossed it all works out in the end. Here's a cheer to all the 2010 brides! Joss, thats what I thought at first too. I think its still stressful and it is work - but the little things you realize you do not need to do. Like taste test 4 caterers. NOPE. Or try 8 different types of cakes. NOPE. You just pick what you want and cross your fingers! But you are still going to have to do the work on invites and RSVPs, answering questions, picking out favors and color schemes, and all of that stuff. I just think its easier b/c you have less choices. Being my Libra-indecisive self, thats what I need - less choices! Good luck! -
Katie, I am May 29th - but at Azul Beach. Its so small there aren't too many brides here getting married there. I think its 5 mins from Sensatori. I am sending out Save the Dates this weekend. I created my website. Lastly I found a Travel Agent to book my room and my family has been booking theirs. Thats about it! All of the detailed things I am waiting to do until next year - like food and DJs and music and all that! Right now I am trying to figure out my colors. Its impossible, so I am using all tropical colors and hoping to find 2 I like to use the most! This forum is really really helpful. Welcome!! Amy

When you book with a good TA, they will lower the prices if they go down after you book. Also, my TA is making sure we get all of the good rooms, closest to the beach and with water views. You can also get extra perks from the hotel for booking so many rooms - like a free welcome reception, etc etc. Right now we are in a recession, so of course booking last minute is not as risky, as people are cutting back on vacations. But this is your wedding!!!! Don't you want the best room!?
