So I am having my AHR in Stevensville MD - on Kent Island - in a small room they call the "Breeze House" in my Dads neighborhood, right on the Bay. I am over the Bridge, but I was wondering who you booked for your cake and photog? I am looking at Peace of Cake in Stevensville and Growls in Annanpolis. My sister had a Growls cake and OMG it was amazing. What are you going to do for your menu? Mine sounds awesome, but I am nervous it might be too heavy for July on the Beach.... Here is my proposed Menu for July 24 2010 on the Chesapeake Bay. I think it might be too heavy since it'll be in a "breeze house" without air conditioning. I am meeting the restaurant owner/caterer over Xmas and I have only heard amazing things about him! Starts at 3 pm to 8pm - no sit down dinner - just help yourself buffet. YUM-O!!!! 1st Hour Buffet -Hot Crab, Spinach and Artichoke Dip with Sliced Ciabatta -Smoked Salmon, Red Onion, Fresh Dill on Marbled Rye -Sliced Cucumber and Watercress with Goat Cheese on Mini White Bread -Fresh Melon, Pineapple and Strawberry Kabobs -Meat Ball Stroganoff Passed Hors d’oeuvres -Hot Crab Melts -Seared Tuna with Wasabi and Ginger Crostini -Baked Wild Mushroom Flat Breads Dinner Buffet -Salad of Mixed Field Greens, Nuts, Berries, Gorgonzola and Vinaigrette -Sliced Beef Tenderloin with Horseradish Cream Sauce -Broiled Jumbo Lump Crab Balls (1 pp) -Potato Au Gratin -Fresh Asparagus -Rolls and Butter

Does anyone have pictures of their dresses? Mine is at my sisters and I leave for there on Sunday so I will take some pictures and post them. My BFF is letting me borrow her veil too (if I like them together) so I am so excited to go and play dress up!!! 27 dresses, I would go back and try to get a doctor or a nurse to sign off on your aunt's illness. If thats what is keeping from you collecting on the cancellation insurance policy, then you need to push the doctor harder. And the Wedding Holiday would be able to recoup those fees from the insurance carrier, so I dont know why they are being so difficult. I work in Prop & casualty business insurance, so I am not well versed in event cancellation, but this just seems like they don't want to pay out. Some carriers are like that and you need to request a couple times in writing and fax it too.

I am getting married legally in the US first. I put Mark in charge of that, so we'll see if Mexico suddently turns out to be the legal part. Katie, I did know about the blood tests but no idea about the pregnancy part. wow. That would suck. Here is a weird thing, I was looking at the special offers at Azul and they said for the honeymoon package you have to provide a copy of your marriage license to prove your wedding date was w/in 30 days (not the year - just month and date) of your trip. So, now I am all freaking out that things like that will happen in the future and I'll have to celebrate my legal wedding date and not the Mexico one. weird, huh?!
