Amy - I have a new miracle cure. Its raw apple cider vinegar. 1Tbs morning, afternoon, and night diluted in 8oz of water. Its kinda good actually - LOL - but I have been fighting a cold and it has not gotten worse when usually I end up with full blown bronchitis. Anyways, google it if you have not heard about it _ I am using it to detox after the bachelorette weekend I hope you feel better soon

He'll be the odd man out if he wears it. And now I just checked the weather for next week and it's rain every day! with 60% chance on our wedding day. GRRRRRRRRR!!!! One reason we picked April was because it's one of the months with the lowest rainfall. I know I shouldn't worry about weather a week away since it's always changing but still GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! I am just generally pissed off today! Oh Wendy :-( From living in a tropical setting as well - the chance of rain here is 60% almost every single day. If you looked at weather.com it would show rainy every day. partly cloudy w/ chance of rain to be more exact. Believe me, that will change once you get down there. They cannot predict the weather that far out in Mexico b/c its on a peninsula and right on the water. If you follow the weather, you will see one day is 60% rain and the neext day - look up what the rainfall was - usually its 0.01" or even 0.00"... so yeah it rained - but it was just a passing shower where you duck and cover for 10 mins as it passes over you.

Dont worry about the 2 donuts Amanda - t1 jelly filled donut is actually better for you total calories wise than a bagel with cream cheese! All that matters is one lapse does not turn into a full day and then a week of bad behaviour. If you are dieting, then one lapse just means you wont lose any in the next day or so. Keep up the good work otherwise! Amy - Yes that is what I am doing - 6 meals a day - I actaully hate it b/c I feel like I am constantly eating at my desk. And I sit next to a 5'11" french girl who is probably 120 pounds and does not eat. So heres me with my apple snack, then lunch,. the celeery and almond butter.... hahah Oh well, I feel great so I will keep it up. Also, FI told me that he really could see a difference after we had seen eachtother for 3 weeks so that was relaly motivating Have a great weekend girls - and Katie - can you wear what they sent you anyways? If not, have a good friend go pick something up for you!!! And the friend who deleted your comment - all i can say is that I hate technology when it leads to problems like this. I would rather speak to someone and get them to tell me whats going on rather than read into a deleted comment. Same with emails - you can always read them differently and its hard to get someone's tone correct over writing. Just a thought - not that what she did is not F'ed up cuz it totally - just to reserve total judgment until you can ask her why she didn't tell you personally. Maybe she has a surprise planned for you over the weekend even though she can't be there?

It's low carb and around 1,500 cals with a workout, 1,200 - 1,300 without. I have been growing out my hair for 2 years and planned to have it up and now you're making me realize I should show it off! Although... my hair is stick straight and won't curl to save my life. Thats a good idea - to eat more cals the day you work out - this one tells me to dial back the training. I still want to be able to do my 55 min spinning classes so might have to add a good snack to make sure I can do them. Yes! Show off your long hair - although having an up do with long hair is really nice too b/c there is so much hair to work with. I wanted to do a low messy bun but then the side pony seems really in and I love it with a one strapped gown. Are you having a third fitting too
  7. Ok so whats everyone doing for make up and hair? My make up - I like this look with shimmery brown/bronze outlining the eyes: For my hair I like: b/c my dress is one strapped like this so the side pony should be nice - plus I have been growing out this mop forever - dont want to ruin it with a bun!

You want them to come and if they can't afford the cost, then yeah there are cheaper places, but it kinda takes away from the big close group after vacationing together for 4 days feel you have at your wedding. I hope they all start realizing how much more fun it is to go somewhere as a group. My friends did it last March - a couple got married at a Dreams and they got a good deal on Book It with another resort - and it was nice - but they only got to see the other guests for the weddng part and they admitted that they should have paid the extra $ for the Dreams. 11. Heres our whole crew - hahahahha it was hilarious - look at my best friend in the green to my right. Those shoulders were AWESOME. My other friend said they got it right in the 80s... you can pass out and use your shoulders as a pillow....

Anyone else use her as you WC? I'm finding that all of the documents (that I have to search for to find myself) conflict with each other. WTH? Yes - and there were like 4 different catering option menus floating around too. My suggestion is to get everything on your wedding sheet and negotiate with the people in Mexico to ensure you get what you want. I find my own TA (Tiffany) goes in waves where she is super responsive and then not at all. Probably when they are dealing with other issues. I always go for the phone rather than email as well. At work I have the same deal - I call people before I would email - I find a lot can get lost in translation over typing for most people. 14. Lolo thanks for the review! You were a super cool bride and I wish you and hubby all the best!!!
  15. Congrats Wendy!!!!!!!!!! You look adorable in the pictures!!!!! AmyF - LOVE the glasses. I got replicas for my OOT bags too and they are so fun. Have to remember to make a note to everyone to wear them to the ceremony - or at least carry them there for a fun pic afterwards. Right girls - I am off to the airport for my shower and hen night in Baltimore tomorrow night!!! watch out!!!! I'll post pictures when I get back - we are all wearing horrific brdiesmaids gowns and I am in a $25 bride gown from salvation army. My mom found it - covered in sparkles and poofy sleeves - HOT! Have a great weekend.

I was checking out hotels... are there any particular areas or hotels that are a must stay. Is it worth it to do the all inclusive route or are restaurants in Bermuda reasonably priced? Bermuda is super expensive. Crazy expensive. But beautiful and totally worth it! My fave hotel is Coco Reef which in June I am not sure about the pricing but I had clients stay there in Nov for $200 a night. I would also check out 9 Beaches which is far away from the airport but really cool little cottages on stilts. There are no all inclusives here. Dinners will run $20-$35 per dish plus 15% grats they automatically include. I have lived here so long though that I have no idea what is expensive any more. I took my good friend to Mickeys, which is a beach restaurant, like the only one, and he was laughing at the $18 cheeseburger - that actually seemed like a good deal to me. PM me if you decide to come and I can give you more specific deets!!!
  17. Katie - glad you got so much done - you must feel better/less pressure now! Wendy - whoa so soon! Are you doing any last minute primping? Just another complaint about my TA... FI has now left her 2 messages this week trying to submit final payment and she has not answered nor gotten back to him. SO annoying. The last time I spoke to her was Thurs and she said she was doing "not real well" when I called and said "hi, how are you?" It was a STUPID decision going with a one man shop! Of course when I picked her she spoke in the 3rd person kind of with "we" and "us". Turns out she is the only "one" in "we".... lol

They can accommodate up to 50 people. We are also bringing 3 kids and Mark at Paradise catamarans is providing life jackets for the kids sizes as well. We have approx 35 people going and its about $2300 for transport, drinks, and food, and 4 hours on the boat from 3pm - 7pm. I guess that is the sunset cruise too but we will go snorkeling first too.

I think Karisma is expensive - but I have looked on other threads and resorts on this forum and it seems like everyone is nickled and dimed by their hotels. Definitely ask to make your own packages and keep your eyes peeled to their website for any wedding deals. I changed to the "free wedding" once they offered it on Azul Beach (property down the street from AS where I am getting married).
  21. Hola! Anyone using the Lomas DJ - Tiffany sent me the link to their song list today: http://weddings.lomas-travel.com/pla...music_list.pdf If I remember correctly, I think Amy F said that the DJ had a lot more music than just this list. I am still not sold on my first dance song. Maybe I'll make FI be in charge of that. I just can't find one that I love and fits the mood in mexico.
  22. Or one bad meal. Don't let the guilt get to you. So you caved and went through the drive through or a large bag of doriotos, or what have you. I actually found I started losing weight when I stopped binging for a day and only did it for a meal on the weekend.

Honestly - get used to people saying stupid sh*t like this to you! One of my BMs was telling people while she was here visiting me how expensive it was, my best friend's mom was saying how DW's are selfish.... I mean, it just happens. My advice is to try and stay calm and dont take it personally. Everything and emotions are heightened when its your wedding, and sometimes its just a foot in mouth kind of thing.... I actaully told people after they said stuff like that, "listen this is my wedding and so I knowmy emotions are higher and I am more sensitive about this stuff, but I really need you to support my decision to have a DW and if you have any issues or comments if you could just bring them to me only." It really worked! Good luck and welcome to the forum!!!!

  25. Wendy - love the photos! They really are so pretty and sexy 60s pin up! You must be so proud of yourself looking at these. So you are giving 1 to FI before the wedding? You girls are so courageous!
