I will write a more detailed review (just waiting to get some pictures). The day we got there was the day Hurricane Ida was just passing by and there was so much seaweed on the beach! By Monday they were cleaning it up, and you couldn't see any seaweed around my beach setup. I think the beach setup was def the way to go for me. They have a tan aisle runner that blends into the sand and you can walk down easily in heels. There was a light breeze but with a hurricane holder I think you could easily have had candles. ALSO, I wanted to tell you who my photographer was: SASCHA GLUCK. Oh my gosh you guys, I can not tell you how amazing he is. If you are thinking about booking him, DO IT. He is one of the most creative photographers I have ever met. He used all these cool techniques to take our pictures and then would show them to us and they looked amazing! Everyone in my wedding loved him! We got around the outside vendor policy by saying he was a guest at our wedding. We paid for one nights stay for him and never encountered any issues. It worked out great, because the next morning we met up early for TTD pictures on the pier and got some beautiful sunrise pictures. I'll post my review later, just couldn't resist! I can't wait to see your photos and read your review!! Sascha Gluck is my photographer as well!! Did you do a package with him or book him for a few hours?
  2. They sell these labels at AC Moore, they also give you the template so you can set it up. Good luck!
  3. Congrats!! I am getting married at the MP in 2010 as well.
  4. Congrats and welcome to the forum!

My couple (Elizabeth & Will) truly utilized the whole resort (golf, spa, private dinners in different locations inside and out)... if any of you are wondering what it was like feel free to contact me. As a person who sees a lot of resorts... this one was top notch. Elizabeth & Will Congrats... have fun! A Great pictures!!!
  6. Thanks for the picture Maura, I didnt realize how much seaweed, My wedding is at 4 pm. I hope they clean it up some.
  7. Its a sottero midgley - JSM1103 - by Sottero & Midgley I can't wait for it to come in!! I have 4 BM, my colors are turquiose and orange, like my monogram. Just starting shopping for my OOT bags but that is a slow process, waiting on a better headcount. Still up in the air about flowers, they don't have the best selections at the MP. I think that might be it for now... and you?
  9. Hi Woodsylou!! I am a MP beach bride myself! Great thread! Please let me know what you find out. Did you ask your wedding coordinator, maybe if you send her the photo she can comment. Good Luck!
  10. I believe my resorts required you to show proof of your marriage if you aren't having a legal ceremony.

We were glad we went with Arrecifes because we were wanting a more casual fun atmosphere. Thanks Tina, I will let you know how I made out once everything is confirmed!!

  13. Thanks Maura, we look forward to any information!! It will be helpful. Please let us knowyour favorite places to eat!! That would be quite helpful!
  14. Thanks Ladies for all your opinions!! I really do like it -- I just wasn't sure if it was a bit to risque!!
  15. Hi Ladies!! I just purchased this dress from David's and it's tea length. As you can see I am very short and not the thinnest bride. I think it's showing a bit tooooo much of my girls as well as being too short?? opinions and please be honest!!!

There is still SO MUCH to do! We finally picked out our bridesmaids dresses last weekend. I have a lot more people responding to our SaveTheDates since I sent out a postcard reminder about two weeks ago. When are you planning on sending your formal invites out? I'm confused as to when I should require final RSVPs because of the holidays, etc. I am thinking of sending them out end of December and requesting Feb 1 as the RSVP date, but I'm not sure if that's enough time to get my OOT bag stuff ordered and ready? How are your plans coming I am still in the air with my bridesmaid, but I only have 2. I have my dress, I actually just sent my invites this week for a RSVP of the 15th. I figured I give everyone enough time to plan their vacation.
  17. Hello Jerseyshore transplant!! Great pictures!! I love, love your dress and you are so local to me!
