  1. December is a pretty good month. It's not hot,but still very warm.around 23-24C(I think it's about 76-78F)
  2. Welcome and happy planning!
  3. Morning or evening is suggested because it's the natural light is very good during that time. If you think you'll be partying all night, then just explain that to your photographer. Otherwise you'll end up being tired and with circles under your eyes. Yes, the water in the morning is definitely colder than say in the evening. Hard to say how much, but you won't be spending hours in the water so it shouldn't be a huge problem. Cheers.
  4. You need to get in touch with the embassy to see what may or may not be acceptable. I don't suggest you risk it by just listing to our advice and internet as nobody here is qualified enough to tell you 100% correct info.
  5. Tip: Avoid booking your ceremony between 11am-3pm unless you want your guests to fry or faint... Cheers
  6. Well, end of August-November are not the most popular months due to all the hurricanes. April-May are not the busiest either. Other than that, Just avoid any holidays. Maybe get a calendar with holidays in each country because Mexico is popular destination with other countries as well. Hope it helps!
  7. Tamarindo is very small and there are a few shops right across the beach. We used a few of them back in '07.
  8. Well, From my experience as a photographer many resorts do prepare a back up location if they expect some rain on the day. Many resorts that specialize in weddings have beautiful lobbies and sections of the hotel where they conduct 'rain' ceremonies. Sometimes it only rains for an hour or so and twice the brides I photographed were able to push their ceremonies about an hour late in order for the rain to pass. Though after the rain the sand is wet and bottom of the clothing/shoes will all can be covered in sand.. However, I did a wedding in Dominican once and because that resort had 6 weddings scheduled for that day, each bride had only 1.5 hours to get their ceremony done. Just avoid "wedding-factory-type-resorts" Cheers
  9. Tickets are usually cheaper starting around beginning of May. Though $700pp all inclussive with flight sounds like a VERY good deal to me. Thing is, if you wait long, your hotel might book all those rooms and guests will have to stay elsewhere. It's not as fun for them. Plus you'll have to pay a day fee for them to come and see you and that fee ranges from app $100-250/day(depending on a hotel).
  10. PPC is an excellent resort! You'll be happy. Cheers, Dmitri
  11. What a beautiful location! Happy planning!! Dmitri
