I paid $15/lb in Vietnam for this coffee, directly from the farm where they grow weasels.
  2. If anything, buy a portable steamer and bring it with you. $30-50
  3. I have a couple for next year who will just sign the documents in Canada 2 weeks prior and then have the ceremony and everything in Dominican. I don't know too many details, but they said it was much easier, cheaper, less headache and no worries about being scammed(in 2007-2008 there were a number of marriage license scams in Dominican)
  4. I brought a few pounds of weasel coffee and have 1-2 cups a week. After trying this one, other types of coffee just don't taste good
  5. On the pictures, it seems like it's glowing from the back lighting. Perhaps it you wet the dress, this thin material will become completely see through. But if your TTD doesn't involve water, then you should be fine.
  6. Welcome to the forum MJL. Great to see fellow Torontonians here!
  7. It's harder for photographers to take pictures in the dark. If I am not mistaken In November sunset is around 5pm. It does gets dark pretty quickly. Unless you want those kind of shots, I'd keep it at around 4pm!

Perhaps because hotel's staff is involved and they may think you will not notice them until you arrive back to your country. If a marker or a pair of socks disappears from your room. Wouldn't you first think that you either forgot it back home or you just can't find it? Also, it's obvious, but you shouldn't leave any valuables in plain sight. As you may know, doors are usually kept open when rooms are being cleaned. Last thing you want a thief who's walking by your room to know you have a laptop in your room. For laptops you can buy an audible cable lock. Some even have GPS devices installed that can call your cell phone if someone will try to move your laptop/bag. Personally, I don't think every "omg, I had XXX stolen" is true. A lot of people don't pack until the last minute and then forget things. If you are rushing, you may just not notice it! That's how our brain brain work. Don't believe me, watch this video: YouTube - Test Your Awareness: Do The Test Also, electronic hotel keys are programmed individually for each door. If anything gets stolen, just ask a manager to see who was the last person to use the key in your room. Housekeeping personal usually have keys that programmed for specific units/floors. And only managers are allowed(front desk don't have the access) to make master keys. Most hotels only have 1-2 master keys for the whole property.

  21. Hey fellow torontonian. I think you will need to wait a bit for the prices. Most will not quote you that far in advance. If they do, the price maybe a bit higher as it will be an estimate.
  22. Glad to see more Canadians here. Good hotel choice. Good luck with the wedding plans!!
