I hear that straps rip pretty easily on the back,as you do have to get it very tight. If you get a dress, just make sure you have the tools to fix it on the day or before,in case it happes.

From my experience, prices will come down down the road. Since they were just released, resorts will try to book at their current prices for a few months(and there are a lot of people who will book right away). Later on, prices go down quite a bit. Of course there's always a risk not to have your day available because someone else took it. Also, because of the economy, a number of business had to increase the prices(less people,same money).

It was very unprofessional from them to do so. Better shops do this via sweepstakes(eg. sign your name for a chance to win this and that,but we reserve the right to sell your info to our affiliates) In Canada, our government recently created a "Do Not Call List". We just go the website and put our phone number on that list. And it is illegal to call anyone on that list. I am not sure,but check of you have something similar in your state. Since I got on that list, I barely receive any of those telemarketing calls. Used to get up to 5 a day!!

Long veils are much better for pictures. You can do so much more with them.

I think security in the Caribbean sometimes just way too laid back. There were few times when I'd see the guys at the x-ray machines talk to each other instead of looking at the monitors. Perhaps this was a good wake up call for them

I had my post removed,but I posted about something like that too. See if you can check on ebay as well. Stores like this sell there too. You can pick the size you want. Alternatively, you can show them a picture of a dress and they'll make it for you. All for about $80-200. Now, they won't look exactly as pictured,because those pictures are from magazines,from designers. However, for the price you pay they do get pretty good job. A great option for someone who wants to do a TTD session, but doesn't want to ruin an expensive gown.
