  1. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my bodybugg.... I got started with it 3 or 4 years ago when I went on a "lose weight kick". The trainer I worked with recommended it. I used it for 3 months, didn't keep up my part of the bargin (you know, the working out and eating right part) and didn't lose any weight. So I promptly put it away in a drawer. Fast forward to last spring. After graduating I didn't realize exactly how much weight I had put on in school until I went to the doctor and actually saw the number on the chart. I went home and cried. Then I pulled out my bodybugg, reactivated it and got to work. I lost 50lbs and went from 36% body fat to 21%. It wasn't easy and it's not a magic pill BUT what it does do is remind you that it's all a numbers game. If you eat more calories than you burn you gain, if you burn more than you eat you lose. And when the numbers are right in front of you it's hard to ignore. A couple things to consider: Monthly fee to use the online program: 14.99 I think + the cost of the bugg and misc stuff you need to work it. It takes some time and effort to keep up with the food log input but once you get in a routine it gets easier. It's useless if you don't honestly record what you're eating and take the time to input foods you eat that aren't in the database. Remember, if you lie to yourself about portion sizes the only one you're hurting is you. So...that's my experience. If you have any questions or want some ideas for tricks I learned just PM me, I'm happy to discuss it. Good luck-you can do it!
  2. Well, I don't own a scale so I guess I'll have to sneak my camera into the gym. Count me in!
  3. Yay! November 2, 2009 at CSS. The only decision left is patio or balcony suite? Well, maybe there are a couple other minor details left i.e. the dress, his wedding band... Congratulations to all!
  4. So many ideas...and only one ceremony. *sigh* We have opposite taste in music so having a non-traditional song we both love is tough. That being said neither of us find the traditional chords of the bridal march all that appealing. So after a couple hours of searching for a remix or cover or something of the traditional bridal march (there are some AWFUL techno versions out there) and one spiffy little spyware program I picked up clicking on the wrong link I found this beautiful one: YouTube - Jonathan Cain (Journey) Bridal March I'm still not sure but I think I'm leaning in this direction. If I don't pick something soon he's going to put his foot down and it will be the theme from Final Fantasy.....

I never thought I would get married but when it occured to me that it might happen someday my dream wedding has always been 6 people on a beach. (My parents, his parents and us). And now it's coming true!! I've only been lurking on the message board for 2 days and so far have loved the information! Thank you to all the people who take the time to post questions, experiences and advice.
