Hello Fellow 2012 Brides - So, I just realized that I never subscribed to this thread. I remember seeing it and I thought I sent everyone a shout out but I don't see that I ever did. Anyway, I'm also a 2012 bride getting married May 5, 2012. Yay! It feels like I've been planning F-O-R-E-V-E-R! In reality, I kind of have. Ha! I kind of took a little break from planning but I think it's time to get on the ball with things again. I just wanted to say Hi! and I hope all of your wedding plans are going well! -Norma

These are great! Where did you guys take these pictures at? What location? My fiance and I will be taking our engagement photos in NY also and would like to have the city as the back drop. Sort of like yours We're not from NY so any advice on locations would be great!

I know what you mean, it's hard deciding when you aren't there to see everything in person. There are so many great resorts though. I'm sure whichever you decide to go with, will be great!

Well, I think Funever comes with our package but we are thinking about flying our photographer out with us also. I'm thinking we are still going to look around for photographers in the Cancun area just as back up. I did request info from DelSol and this other photographer...can't remember the name at this time but I'd be glad to share that info with you. Just PM me your email address and I'll send it your way. Del Sol takes GREAT photos but the prices are way high. Who are you thinking about going with?

Hi! I have not had my wedding yet nor have I considered doing this for my wedding BUT I have been on a Catamaran tour. I do recommend the tour for anyone interested. We went to Playa del Carmen this summer and decided to go on a tour. We had never done the Catamaran and our tour guy said that we should try it out. It was actually really nice and relaxing. The tour is called Catamaya. It was a really nice way to spend half a day. The tour included lunch and snorkeling. The lunch was very good, I have to say. We had an option of New York Strip Steak, Lobster Tail, or Hamburgers. We had the steak and it was very good. The sides were pretty good as well. Oh and you can have all the drinks you want! The staff was very entertaining and always made sure you were ok and having fun. I can't remember how much we spent per person but we thought it was worth it. I hope this helps!
