Hi Sbyron, I have been talking back and forth with the wedding coord for more than 5 months, which would make it more than a year from my wedding date. So that is not true...they will answer any questions that you have and send you all information that you request. You are able to book your private events in advance, actually they encourage it once you sign your wedding contract. I am having my reception in the North Solarium which is right beside the beach. I just sent my WC an email asking about ceremonies on the beach, once the restoration is complete, so I will keep you ladies posted!

This is just my mock-up invite, some of the margins and font sizes are off, but i wanted to get an idea for font type and colors... so if anyone notices anything other than that,that should/needs to be changed please do not hesitate to let me know. Also, I ordered the easy invitation kit from cardsandpockets.com and the silver sand dollars I ordered from LCI paper.

Congrats & Welcome!!! We are getting married at the Playacar Palace Wyndham Grand resort in Playa del Carmen. May want to check it out, great location and there is this Adorable quaint catholic church on 5th (we arent getting married in the church) but we walked by it quite a few times while we were there. If you search playacar palace on the forum myself and a few other girls posted some pics. We have a 19 month old so we too need a child friendly resort. Hi Steph! Welcome...The hotel is pretty isnt it?? We loved it as well!! Classy yest laid back!! and the people were SOOOOOO nice! I am not sure what rates the hotel is giving you, but we went through an agent, I couldnt be bothered dealing with it. Indy- I am using a travel agent also, it was in fact put into my contract. The hotel will only discuss your wedding contract with you if you have contracted a travel agent. If i am not mistaking (and someone can chime in here if I am wrong) but the hotel draws up the contract between you and your agent. So your agent should have had it put in there, perhaps you can ask your agent for a amendment with the information added? Good luck!
