We got engaged Valentine's Day this year (2009) before our 6th anniversary which was March 30th. We will be getting married on our 7th anniversary. =)

Okay, so I'm in the process of trying to figure out what type of shoes/sandals/etc. I should wear for my ceremony and reception. The reception I think I will just go with some type of heel (only if the resort will set up a temporary dance floor as I have seen pictures where they did this already). I like the barefoot sandal idea, but I am considering a wedge shoe for the ceremony. We are getting married on the beach and having a reception on the beach as well. Did anyone wear wedge sandals/shoes for their ceremony on the beach? How did it work out for you? Thanks!

I would like to do my own programs and I was wondering if anyone who was married or is getting married at any of the Riu resorts in Jamaica had the wording for the ceremony, etc. If I can't find anyone on here who might have it I will just ask Kenieka myself, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask here first. I don't think it's too formal at all. It looks amazing on you and would be perfect for the beach.

I cannot wait to to my TTD session!!! But, I might be getting another dress simply because my wedding dress is so delicate I'm afraid it might get permanently ruined. Of course if it gets dirty there's nothing a dry cleaner can't get out. Who knows. I would really like to wear my actual wedding dress for the session but I don't want to ruin it!

I love Kendra!! She has always been my favorite from The Girls Next Door. Her laugh can be annoying but its funny and cute!! If she really is pregnant than good for her!!!

My fiance and I will be in Jamaica from March 26, 2010 through April 5, 2010 (possibly longer) which is 10 nights. We plan on relaxing but also checking out all the "to do" things in Jamaica. I know there was a thread just started about Rick's Cafe and Dunn's River Falls, but if anyone can provide any information like your experience and suggestions about the following that would be great!! Rick's Cafe Dunn's River Falls Glistening Waters Beach Horseback Riding Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville ATV adventures Zip Lining Black River Appleton Estate Rum Tour And anything else that I missed that would be worth while. P.S. I have seen the websites that offer information for all of the above, but I would like your input whether you were there firsthand or heard it from a friend, relative, etc. who experienced these things firsthand. Well I just wanna say thanks everyone for "hearing" me out. I appreciate your thoughts and opinions!! If I could close the thread I would, not sure how that works. BUT I have posted a new thread in the general wedding section titled "LIVID no longer" if you want to check it out!!! Today I get my wedding dress and I am over everything that has been going on. Besides if I didn't get over it how would I move on and be happy with everything.

Despite what has been going on the past few days and my posts which most of you probably read already, I am extremely excited to get my wedding dress tomorrow!!!! I feel like I have been waiting forever!! My MOH and BMs will be there as well to get their BM dresses. Yes that means I have a replacement BM for the girl who TRIED to screw me over. We are going to be trying the dresses on and putting them together to see how it all looks. I will be posting pics tomorrow night for all to see!!!

My colors are tangelo, sunshine, and coral (or orange, yellow, and pink) they are bright but not neon bright and they don't blind you when you look at them. The possibilities are endless. good luck choosing!!

Well since you bought two..... I think dress one is really gorgeous on you and dress two is alright, maybe you can use that one for a TTD session or for your reception unless you plan on taking them back. But I really like dress one.
