My girls and I actually felt pretty unstable (even though we had flats) on the sand- so it just made sense for us. I'm actually more comfortable in bare feet anyway. It really felt great though- and many our our guests took our lead and kicked off their shoes too- many of which made specific comments to me that it was fabulous that they didn't have to wear their shoes! Â If I were to do it again, I'd go the foot jewelery (aka bare foot sandals) as I think it's such a cute way to dress up your feet for a beach wedding They are surprisingly expensive. I guess it's not worse than a pair of shoes though. Â
