Hey Ladies..I haven't posted in awhile...Hi to all the newbies! Thanks Rebecca for your 2 cents..I was considering a site visit but Excellence has so many good reviews on here and on trip advisor we decided against it. I have pics of the gazebo options decorated and flowers if anyone needs them. Does anyone have cake photos...cant find mine. 3 months to go and cant wait.... Thanks!

Yay I'm so excited about them...I just emailed to see if they are availalbe for my wedding. Did anyone use a custom logo in lights? We want to have our monogram on the dance floor.....cant wait to dance the night away!

Hey Ladies...Where is everyone having their cocktail hour? I would like to have ours at the beach lounge..but i read on another blog it would have to be done by 6pm so the lounge can open. Any idea if this is true?

I love yours! I went with the standard design for ours...would share but it keeps telling me my files are invailid..hmmm

I'm still deciding as well on a style. My friend actually makes lace fronts and sells hair from a boutique in Los Angeles...she is making me a lace front and said trust her it wont come off but she did suggest getting a hair that has some type of wave in it so after a swim you wont have to "do" your hair all the time...Luckily she will be with me I will send back a full report for you brides getting married after May....Love Love Love the rianna hair at the begining of the thread..I may go with that one. Katrese I wish i knew places for you to eat..i'm trying not to leave the resort to eat if possible..... MSG my menu choices are grilled filet, mahi mahi & chicken breast, and shrimp stuffed chicken breast...I mixed the gold and silver menu choices since i'm getting the gold package..per Yamina that is ok. I have no idea what the veggie option is. Nadine I love your dress...mine is similar... Question have you all picked a photgrapher yet...I'm in the process I realize now I should have done this month's ago. I am waiting for a price list from Elizabeth Medina and Del Sol....any suggestions on good photog's you've seen?

I put three menu choices on our rsvp card...plus a veggie...didnt think we would be limited...lol...im sure it will work out

Hey Caccy I'm getting married at Excellence Playa Mujeres which is in the same resort complex as La amada. I was checking out reviews of LA to hopefully offer it as an option for our guests. On trip advisor LA had great reviews and one posting I remember said there were four adults in a room....so unless they have drastically changed things i think they sould work it out for you.

We actually got married on 5-22 of this year and are having our ceremony this coming 5-22 at Excellence so we could have the same date for our anniversary.. Welcome ladies to the forum!! Katrese I think I am going to inform guests of the LaAmada option I have a few guests leary of the EPM price... Have you done the same or had anyone book there?

I'm so excited to get a monogram done, I just emailed sproullie I couldn't figure out how to order one on the website. Have any of you ladies used your monogram on stationary, water bottles etc? If so send pix I'm trying to get ideas for my guest bags. Thanks!!

Hey Ladies, Wow most of us have had similar experiences..after doing some research (after the fact) I discovered the TA's with them are contracted with different levels of experience and commitment. After going through three agents I gave up and am using someone local in Los Angeles...and yes my TA offended several people with lack of/no response/or astronomical rate quotes. If I had to do it again I would have gone with a TA from this site or LUXE destination weddings...forgive my spelling..
