msbettyb, try not to get too stressed it will all work its self out.if i was you after lots of begging i would go bridezilla on them and explain that if they do not see you they will be turning down a wedding and lots of money.im sure they can find a little time for you.or can you not ask to see the hotel manager insted then they will find time for you.and josie is right i am sure once you are there they will see you. keep my fingers crossed for you xxx

josie + msbettyb, thanks for your advise will be carring my dress onto the plane for sure. was just wondering if any of you are going with just a small party?there are 6 of us and it worries me a little to hear that all of you are going with such big parties.this is the way we wanted it please do not feel sorry for us hehe. also is anyone else getting married in february 2010?i chased our travel agents today for our confirmed date but it has,nt arrived starting to get impatient.it should be here by the end of the week.i think it may be delayed as our first choice of date was 14th which is a sunday b/c we did not realise that they only did weddings mon-fri. thanks again guys

msbettybernier, thanks for that its really helpful.i am just a little worried about packing my beautiful dress dress.obviously i need to choose something that is,nt too bulky and something that will be cool. i like the a line strapless dresses something really simple but pretty. i will keep you posted on my choice.can,t wait hehe.

sorry everyone, i am new at using this great forum and i don,t think my first post is somewhere for rprm brides to see.i think you are all great and very helpful. we are getting married in feb.our travel agent talked us into going to riu palace and i can not believe the reviews i have read i cannot wait. i am starting to look for dresses and i am hopefully going for my first try on session on saturday.can anyone give any tips for wedding dresses i.e packing and being in a hot climate? thanks

hi, i can,t believe how great this forum is.i did a search for rprm wedding reviews and came across this.i think you are all really helpful to each other and are answering questions that all of us need answers to. tylers girl - you are really helpful and seem to help everyone and its not long for your big day. i,m michelle from nottinghamshire,england and me and my great fiance are getting married feb 2010 at riu palace riviera maya. we booked in february and i should get my final wedding pack this week with the date confirmed.i am soooo excited however because i am still waiting for my info it does,nt seem real. hope to hear from someone soon xx
