its never too late.keep calm so that you can think.you need to take it back if poss.call them and explain but surely if it has not been altered then they should take it back? harty t is right try it on again when you in the right frame of mind.don,t make any rash decisions.think why did you but it?if it was for practical reasons only take it back.you need to feel great on your day and not worry bout your dress. keep breathing it can be sorted lol

hi mandy, this is one of the reasons i am having a dw.the most important people are the 2 of you.do what the 2 of you want to do give them the info and let them decide what they want to do.try not to let what they say upset you.maybe you are giving them too many options?it is true if they are loved ones they will be happy with what ever you do.i am sure there are threads on here if you do a search for exactly the same problem. enjoy your planning xx

anedra, congratulations.i am glad to hear about another wedding where there is just the 2 of you.there will be 4 of us but all of the other threads i have read there has been big groups.i have asked for brides with small parties but there does,nt seem to be any out there?you will have to let me know how it goes. happy planning

hi guys, looking at all of your threads this is how i have been feeling the last few weeks. we now have everything confirmed for 15th feb 2010 @ riu palace riviera maya.we have booked it through a ta. leogurl - we were torn between the moon palace and riu palace.we were really lucky our ta had been to both resorts and she preferred riviera maya.it is also good because with it being a riu resort there are i think 5 hotels in total which range from 3 star to the palace.therefore it makes it cheaper for your guests.however you do have to purchase them a pass for your wedding day.but i think it is also a good idea for the guests to stay in a different hotel but be close.but if you are spending your honeymoon elsewhere that wont matter. it did,nt really effect us as there is only 4 of us.

hi guys, got everything confirmed in the post today.everything is sorted. i have started to fill in my wedding organiser hehe.i have made 2 appointments for trying on wedding dresses on saturday next week hehe.will keep you posted. i have also started to think that the reception we are having when we get back home do we have it as a mexican theme?just thinking this will make it more fun and our friends and family will feel more involved?if anyone has done this please let me know what kinds of things you did.or let me know your thoughts.

josie, those std,s are great.i can not decide weather to send them or not for my party back home which is 6th march?i was just going to send an invite out with christmas cards? katie, by the sounds of it your room is saved until your prices come out.even tho you would like to get everything sorted i would try not to worry too much.

katie, i wonder if feb is classed as winter 09?it is a little silly though.i did have a little look into it for you and there is another bride on the general forum that has the sam trouble as you but she wants to marry in may she thinks prices come out in may?so when can you book? its good to speak to someone in the same position with their wedding date so close hehe.i think the same as you like i have explained even though date is confimred i want it in writing.i am going to start my dress search next saturday.cant wait. can you believe how great this forum is.

katie, that is exactly how i feel.once i have everything in writing and confirmed i will feel much better.it still does,nt seem real but today helped.i am hoping i receive everything from my ta next week. i would defo double check with your ta because yeh it is only 1 month before yours and we have been able to book everything.i have spoken to another bride on here too who gets married at the end of feb and i think she has everything booked?does it make any difference with you waiting for group rates? have you done any planning or are you waiting until you have booked?its silly i wanted a dw so that i did,nt have much planning or stress but now i want to organise things hehe.

katie, yeh we booked a 2 week holiday including the wedding at the end of feb 09 we fly out 7th feb 2010.but it has took until today for our ta to get a confirmed date from rprm.we have not got the paperwork with all the extras etc that should go in the post now. we wanted to book and the prices did not really matter to us because there are only 4 of us.i am guessing you want to know the prices before you book because there is a group of you?

hi, i get married feb 2010 at riu palace riviera maya - mexico.i am waiting for my confirmed date still which i should get this week. so i have,nt done that much yet.as soon as i get this i want to start my dress search.i have booked our party for our friends+family when we get home. we went to riu bachata on holiday 2yrs ago.have you been there already?its a great hotel you will love it.the best thing i remember is how helpful the staff were. you sound like you got most things sorted.i am soooo excited.

thanks for your input guys on the night before thing.i was planning to spend the night with my fi but my best friend says im not allowed to.its true what she and ladies on the forum say if you spend the night apart and the next day until the wedding it will add to the excitement and suspense hehe. msbettyb - great link for the photographer thankyou very much.it is true what josie says when you see something new it gets you excited again. chloe-suit is very stylish this is exactly what my fi wants.he is wearing suit + shirt no tie.i cant believe you get married a couple of weeks after me you are so prepared.xx tell you guys what i thought today.none of our family members are attending and i thought to involve them a little i will ask the close ladie members to supply me with items for my something old,new,borrowed,blue etc.

chloe+josie, sorry i think the wedding pack thing is my fault.i don,t know if it works differently in the states.we have booked our 2 weeks holiday and signed 1 lot of paperwork giving them 2 dates we would like to get married we then have to wait for rprm to confirm our wedding date with our ta.we then get a pack confirming date and get the info on the extras you can book and the wc contact details etc.you guys are loaded with info so i am guessing you must have something else? what are you guys doing the night before the wedding?i.e are you staying with your fi?what are your views on this?also are you writing your own vows? off to work

msbettyb, great to hear about your appt this way you will not be rushed for your flight and it will give you more time to consider things after you have had your meeting and if you have any queries you will still be there.its not long for your visit i bet your,re really excited. i am hoping that i get me pack today confirming everything.if not bridezilla will be out tomorrow.hehe. i am still waiting to hear if anyone has had only a small wedding party if there is anyone out there? have a good day

hi guys, it is great news that you got your appt.it may not last as long as you wanted it to but you will get your queries sorted out if you go ready with all of your info.are you booking it when you are there? gina,with regards to the outside photographer i now it,s not the same but our guests were going to stay at one of the other hotels in the resort and we was going to get them a day pass.i think they do let anyone in with a day pass. josie,it is a little disappointing about the fire danncers but if you do want them ask again like you say nearer the time.its good that you and gina get married soo close to each other you can compare. i have a really bad hangover today the only thing that could cheer me up is my wedding pack arriving.does everything get sorted with the wc before you get to the resort?i assumed that everything got sorted when you met them on your arrival.thats good b/c at least you do have exciting things to do and also you don,t have to spend hours with them when you get there wasting sunbathing time. xx
