ashley, we get married in february to.i was told by the translating office here in uk that you only need them translating if you have been married before or if either of you have ever changed your name.however she did say that each resort is different.i would just double check it with your wedding co-ordinator.i was worried about this too as i was told by my ta we had to do this.

hi ladies, its nice to hear from other brides for 2010. me and my h2b get married 15th feb 2010 @ riu palace riviera maya.there is just us and our 2 best friends then we are having a big ahr on 6th march. i freaked out a little this week thinking did i book too quickly.we booked the resort as our ta had stayed there and said how fab it was.i had,nt done any research or anything.but i went on tripadvisor for 300th time and that put my mind at rest.i don,t know why i did it we booked back in february? how far have you guys got planning wise? i have found my dress and go for fitting in dec.booked ahr venue, we are having a mexican theme party.in process of getting quotes back for photographer for ahr and boudoir book.bought lots of bikinis thats about it. next month im going to buy shoes and cake topper.

hi, im sorry you had to experience this like you have,nt got enough to think about.have they said it will be finished by wednesday?i would ring them and see how they are getting on so that you can take to someone else to do it if need be.good luck let us know how you get on

i cant help you with prices in that area but i would check out some other resorts.like nonnie has said trip advisor is great but people do also go on there to vent.but i dont think 78% is very good.search on hotels in punta cana and see what that comes up with. try not to stress you have time to find a great resort

hi ladies, hope you are all well. bev, hope you feeling better and chilled whilst you have been off work. i have felt really excited again this week.i think its cause one of the brides getting married at the same resort as me leaves next weds.wish it was me. i have been sorting quotes out today for photographers for ahr and boudoir book.found a really good one thats in our price range.just waiting for her to change a few things on the quote before we book her.i have done really well on the boudoir thing.she quoted £375 now she is doing me a book with 10 prints in for £200 but this does,nt include a makeover,which i can live with. what have you guys been up to?
