  1. Thank you, ladies. I was also leaning towards option #1, i love the glitter all around the shoe. Guess not such a tough decision after all
  2. Hello, ladies! It's my turn to ask for an opinion regarding my DW. I know how valuable your opinions are, and how helpful they have been for brides, so now it's my turn to ask. I ordered two pairs of shoes for my wedding and of course I can't decide which to go with. Below are pictures of both. Let me know which of the two would look nicer. Thanks a million!!! Clara Option #1 Brena Option #2
  3. That is such a great story! You should definitely wear your bubble gum ring proudly. And yes... please post a picture!!!
  4. Hi, Jen! COngratulations on your engagement. You definitely came to the right site. You are gwoing to find some of the most helpful information from all the brides on the forum. Good luck and happy planning! P.S. I would suggest the Riviera Maya in Mexico, but since I'm holding my own wedding there I am a bit biased.

  6. Same here! Wishing everyone a safe and happy beginning to 2010.
  7. I love the design of your thank you card. Your monogram is gorgeous. Great job! Quote: Originally Posted by oasisgirl Sadly, I can't open your attachment =( I'm not sure why... If I'm not mistaken, you need to have at least 150 posts in order to start opening attachments. Hope it helps.
  8. Your bags were absolutely adorable, Patti. I especially like the idea of buying the regular towel and having them embroidered separately. Thanks for all the cool ideas.

  10. Oh, Hun, my thoughts go out to you and your family. I'm so sorry you are going through these difficult times so close to your wedding date. Just know that your Dad will be thinking about you every step of the way, and he will be there by your side as you start this new life.

As soon as I told Rebecca that the invites were good to go and be printed, she mailed them to me and it took less than a week to get. The whole process took about a month, and that's because I kept on changing my mind about certain things, ie colors and fonts. She works super fast.

  14. Hi, everyone! So I got my invites a few days ago and due to lack of spare time couldn't get my pictures of them up. My invites were done by Allurements by Rebecca. Let me tell you, Rebecca is absolutely amazing!!! She was so patient with me, letting me know of every possible design the invites could have. I also needed the invites to be not just in English, but in Spanish as well and that wasn't a problem at all. Becks is super responsive with her emails, I hadn't hit the send button when a reply was on its way back. Her prices are very reasonable, so much so that I ended up ordering even more invites than what we originally had, only because I wanted to give some to family and friends that wouldn't be able to actually make the wedding. Rebecca was a pleasure to work with. I have not a single bad thing to say. All I can say is that if you want to work with someone that will be professional and devoted to her work, Becks is the best choice!!! Below is the front of the jacket Below is the back of the jacket (Mike's favorite part)
  15. Those are just gorgeous, I love them! Maybe this is a silly question, but are the vases plastic or glass? It didn't say anything on the website. Thanks.
  16. Maureen is right. This forum does nothing but help brides get a grip on their planning and a sounding board on other things not even related to wedding planning. My FI found this site for me (and I thank him each and every day for doing so) and I've been hooked ever since. The girls are so forthcoming with their advice and opinions, and to me that's priceless given the fact that no one around me really wants to listen to wedding talk all the time. I know I would be more than happy to see your dress, and to know how your planning is coming along. Don't stop contributing to the forum. All the best!
  17. Your save the dates look amazing. I love the colors you went with. Rebecca is also working on mine and she is truly wonderful.
  18. You must be on Cloud 9. That's a wonderful picture of you both. Can't wait to see the rest of the shoot.
  19. Erica, I absolutely love your idea. I would've never, ever thought of something so quirky and fun. I agree with you on the reasons behind not putting personal info on them. I would love to do them, and maybe even putting our monogram on them. Now that would be tricky. Do they sell door hangers that are not foam, or that you could print something on?

There are also tons of brides out there that have gone the DIY route and there are entire threads dedicated to explaining how you can make them on your own. I've heard it's addicting if you DIY, I'm not brave enough, lol. Hope this helps: DIY Forum - Best Destination Wedding Forum ~ The Ultimate Destination Wedding Resource
  21. Hi, Jami. Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your engagement. If it's advice you are seeking, you have certainly come to the right place. Happy planning!
