Well this is my first time posting a thread... here goes. My wedding colors are pink and green. I wanted invitations that were bright, colorful and fun. I ordered my invitations from maplemountaindesigns.com. She was so great to deal with, and does exceptional work. I really could not be any happier with them and my guests absolutely loved them! They came in a really cute little white box too! She is also going to be creating my place cards and program fans to match my invitations. Here are a few pictures... Sounds like all the photog's from Claudia's team are great. I had no idea they brought assistants too, that's great. I just emailed her and told her I would like to book! Can't wait to see your pics Tammi!! Shouldn't be long now. A couple here in Revelstoke we know got married the first week in December and they already have all their printed pics from Claudia. Seems like she's pretty quick with sending them out.

Yeah, I think you are right.. you can't really go wrong! I am not sure if you get the prints and all the photos on a disk... I will have to look into that, good thinking. My ceremony is at 3pm, and I was thinking of booking the photographer 230 - 530, or 2 - 6 depending on how long the package is that I pick. I definitely would rather have pictures of the getting ready part rather than the reception, if I have to choose one or the other. What about you - what time is your ceremony and when are u going to book your photographer for?

Yeah, Claudia is booked, so she offered Erick's services. Another photographer with her company. I checked his pictures out on the website and I really like his photos (not as much as Claudia's though..) I also requested the price list from Moments that Matter. I am on a tight budget so I know I will be going with the smallest packages. Claudia has 3 hours for $1500 (and you get some printed pictures) , and MTM have 4 hours for $2000 (no prints, but I think you get two photographers there) ... it's a toss up! How does one choose?!

Hey Guys! I had to switch my date from Wednesday to Thursday, because we will be arriving on the weekend, and we need the full three days before the civil ceremony. No big deal though. I just have to be careful and put lots of sunscreen on, so I don't look like a lobster by the time Thursday rolls around! Is GP considered a 4 or 5 star resort? I thought it was 4, and then I just saw a website that called it a 5? Just wanted to include that info in my info package I will be sending out in a couple of months. Just emailed Claudia Rodriguez photography to try to book her for my wedding! I hope she's available!

Christina- I will have to ask Rocio about it. The Thursday, Friday only thing makes sense though.. I guess I will have to switch my ceremony date to December 2nd, instead of the 1st. I will have to check out DJ Mannia too. Music and a good party is really important to me. I LOVE to dance! haha Are you having a legal ceremony or a symbolic?

Christina, Yes, it's true. It will be nice to get it all done in one ceremony. My Wedding date is on a Wednesday, and we should be arriving on Saturday or Sunday.. I wonder if that meets the requirement of being in the country three business days before getting married. Are they very strict on that? I am thinking I will go with a DJ too. I heard DJ Bob is really good, and relatively inexpensive... so I am going to look at booking him. Which DJ are you going with?

I have also been getting responses in a few hours, or the next day, from Rocio, which has been awesome! Still trying to confirm we wedding date.. hopefully we have it all settled now. We had to switch from Vow Renewal package to Crystal Civil Ceremony Package after fi accidentally mentioned to his mother that we were having the real ceremony at home... and she said she wasn't going all the way to Mexico for a "Fake Wedding"... The joys of FMIL's! hahaha We were just trying to save some money, no big deal though I guess. I noticed that the GP has a wedding website that I never knew about! where was I? Palladium Weddings I am just trying to decide if I should hire a DJ or just do the Ipod thing for my private reception... What do you ladies think? It would be nice to have someone to be in charge of the music so you don't have to worry about a thing.. But then there's the cost.. tough call.

Congratulations Tammi! Everything sounded great and you looked absolutely beautiful! Great detail in the review! That's almost too perfect that 'Like a Virgin' came on for your first dance, hilarious! haha Your bouquet turned out great! Just a few questions... from your photo, it looks like you have the guests seated in a horse-shoe, is that right? I love the idea of not being separated far away at a head table. What time was your ceremony at? Did you find it worked out good with the sun setting and having enough time for photos? How were the mosquitos at that time? Congrats again! Nice to hear such a great review and put all of us future GP brides at ease. Can't wait to see more pics of your special day!!
