I just stumbled across this thread, so I thought I would say hi to all my fellow May brides!

Will do! I can't wait to go back in two weeks. I think partly the measurements might be off because I lost some weight. I just did measurements, and it looks like 2 inches. Which makes since for the chest and waist then. Yay!

I agree, DO NOT USE MISTI! Please read the reviews. I booked Misti and she was so helpful and nice. She had received such great reviews. I felt confident using her because she was so active on this board and other members had booked. She changed her name and email part way through. She did not let her current clients know. Finally, I found her new information and contacted her. She was incredibly rude. Things came about where I realized I needed to cancel working with her. She offered 1/2 of my deposit back and promised I would have it within 30 days. I emailed and called her many many times after 30 days passed. She didn't respond to a single call or email. Now I'm out about $350. Luckily, I realized this before booking her travel or even using her for my wedding. Many brides have yet to receive photos from her!

I ordered from Landy. When I decided to order through them, I hadn't heard of gianinarbridal or seen posts on here yet from them. I would have love to check them out. A lot of the early threads on here are from Landy - and I ordered my dress a while back. I received my dress yesterday. It's great! It's a corset back, so I have to wait for someone to come over and lace me up. I'll post pictures soon!

We ordered from Titanium Kay and love his ring! I think total it was about $65-70. It's a tungstun ring. It's super nice! And you cannot tell we only spend $70. It looks EXACTLY like the one he liked at Zales for $300.

We got FI's suit on Wednesday! Super quick! We're heading to my parents for the weekend, so I haven't had a chance to take pictures yet. I did make him try it on though and it looks great! We went with the regular suit size instead of a custom order (FI was being a brat about getting sized). It's pretty much true to size! I'll try to post pictures on Sunday or Monday when we return.

OMG, all your dresses are gorgeous! Thanks for giving me the courage to order a knock off. I ordered a short dress from ebay. This is my first attempt at posting photos, crossing my fingers that it works. Also, ignore the crappy photos, they are from my iphone.

Hi ladies! This is my favorite thread. I received my knock off short wedding dress from ebay seller 2008-Olympics. I L-0-V-E it. I don't know how to do PIP here, sorry ladies! I'll see if I can find out and post pictures. I ordered a knock off long wedding dress from LandyBridal. I should receive it mid to late February. I can NOT wait!!

FYI: I was in PV recently and have a couple of tips for saving money. 1. If you go outside you can take the Blue Bus (or other bus) to the hotel zone. I did this in May and it was a great way to save money. Go outside and turn left - the stop is near where the walking overpass is. 2. If you go accross the overpass when you are outside, there are cabs accross the street. They are 1/2 the cost of the aiport cabs.

Follow up: We signed a contract and paid a deposit to work with Eva & Michael. I met with them in May and they have been great to work with!

FI doesn't know my weight. I think if I was happier with it, I would tell. Right now he's like 30 lbs heavier than me but 5 inches taller. I know his because when he stepped on the scale and say it he freaked out. I don't feel comfortable saying the number outloud right now. I guess everyone's different.

I just finished day 3. Woohoo! Not sure if I'll make it much longer. But the first 3 days really aren't bad.
