Boston Bride 2009

I'm still trying to figure out the height myself. His mom's brother is very tall but she is a munchkin.

The bags were in the tote section on ewam.com but they might have sold out. That happened to me but they restocked a few months later. The tanks are from J. Crew.

I bought the polka dot bags on two dates because the first time they didn't have enough to fill my order. Honestly I looked every day for a few months until they had them again to buy the rest. Keep checking because they were restocked the last time. I couldn't find them anywhere else on line. BTW everyone LOVED the bags and people were asking where they got them from because it was such a big group walking around with them.

I just posted some pics. All I have to say is AMAZINGGGGG...just perfect. I have some bad news though. Mercy was beyond perfect. She did everything that I asked her to do (which was A LOT) and more. But, we were her last wedding. Her last day at Excellence was the day after our wedding. She is starting her own wedding planning business. You have nothing to worry about though because the vendors the resort uses are just wonderful and so professional. I'm sure they won't miss a beat. I'll write a full review when I get caught up with life and have more pics from our photographer. I still can't believe that our wedding was so perfect and the most fun I've ever had. Girls, I'm back....and it was absolutely the best time of my life. Our wedding was perfection due to tons of planning, your stories/ideas, amazing friends and family, and an absolutely outstanding wedding planner at Excellence. I'm super swamped with work so I can't write my review yet...there is just so much to write. I did want to share some photos though. I will write more when I'm caught up on life...I've been gone for over two weeks.

The beach towels are super easy to make. Literally you just hold an iron over the tranfer for a couple minutes and then you have your bedazzled towel!!!

Sorry for posting again but to be more specific the blue bags and the polka dot bags are both from ewam.com. I also bought a cute laundry bag on there with my initial. In the boy bags I am including the med kit and aloe too...forgot to say that.

Ewam.com is awesome! For the boy bags I just bought the plain blue bags. I have the blue towel and the cup. When we get to Benny's parents in DR I'm going to just get them a bottle of dominican rum and a cuban cigar. There are only 3 guys traveling alone. I can't believe I'm leaving on Sunday!!!

I have to tell you girls Mercy is wonderful. She has sent me a ton of new pictures of bouquets, cakes, decorations, set up to select from. She has gone through every single detail with me. What impressed us the most is that she called our house on Sunday to make sure that we have everything answered before we go. She spoke with Benny in espanol so I don't know exactly what she said but Benny was very impressed with her (he isn't impressed easliy let me tell you). She wanted to make sure she had our menu selections so that we can take priority with the chefs. She has answered every email I've sent her within a day or two. Absolutely fantastic. We leave in less than a week. SO exciting!!! Just an FYI I did post my planning thread and OOT bags.

I don't have one for my wedding but I bought one for my best friend for her shower gift. I actually got the idea from this forum. The website is beegeebags.com and they are very very nice handmade clutches. They are a bit pricey but you could totally use it again.

The first aid kits are from the Christmas tree shop but I've seen them at CVS and Walgreens. I added the advil and alka seltzer myself.

The bags were 3.95 each but ewam.com is a wholesale company so you do have to spen a minimum of $50. They have a ton of stuff that is all very fun so it's pretty easy. Thanks for the compliments!!!

THanks girls!!! I realized I have to post our programs...I'm still making them. Will post when they are done. The towels and the tanks were super easy. I ordered the rhinestone iron on transfers on-line. One site was onestopblingshop.com and I can't remember the other. I did find a retailer on etsy that had hundreds of wedding iron on transfers. I bought the tanks on clearance at j.crew for $3 and then you literally just peel of the rhinestone transfer stick it on the shirt and run an iron over it. I did the same thing with the towels. It's VERY easy. I ordered my towels from cotton fruit. I have 8 turquoise and 11 blue left over. I also forgot the whole pic of the oot bag so here it is

Groom's attire/groomsmen's attire They are wearing a black suite, white shirt and tie TBD (benny needs to get on this) THis is ben's suit Ok so I think that is everything. Hope you enjoy. I can't wait to get there and stop worrying about everything....my stepmom just called benny to tell him that her and my father can not go because my now has to go to Panama for work...I'm done....just want to get there and be on the beach.

When he was ready to propose he went to her because she worked at a very unique jewelry shop and she introduced him to the jeweler who made my ring. She is now a make-up artist and is doing my make-up on our wedding day….I owe her the world!!! Thank you all so much for all of the information that you have shared on the forum. I have read and read and read. This has been the absolute best resource that I have had. I also appreciate the girls who supported me when I lost my grandmother last week. That was do difficult and they were just so kind. I am very excited for our wedding. We have put so much thought into everything that we are doing. I hope our guests love everything and have a wonderful time with us. Engagement We were engaged 5/17/08 at Belle Mer in Newport, RI. He picked this day because it was exactly one year from when he “knew†he loved me. The previous year I had my wisdom teeth out and I went to NH to stay with my mom. Benny had gone to NYC because it was the last weekend before his parents went back to DR. He was so worried about me that he got on Amtrak from NY to Boston and then took a bus from Boston to NH to be with me. Where it all happened!!! Telling the world!!! HAPPPYYYY! Yikes! I would have been angry too. I would try taking it somewhere else. Call her asap so she doesn't start working on it. That price is very high. I live in boston and got a ton (hem, taken in everywhere...it was wayyy to big, had the sweet heart neck and back lowered, added more rouching on the hips, and a handle on the train) of things done to my dress and had my reception dress taken in as well and I paid $300. You don't need to deal with rude people. I didn't get my dressed altered where I purchased it for the same reasons.

Thank you girls for your continued support. I'm sort of back on track for the wedding thanks to my wonderful wedding coordinator. I'm excited but I did have a tears session last night when I was trying to fall asleep....it creeps up on you are the strangest times. You all have been so supportive with your words of encouragment, stories, thoughts and prayers. I truly truly appreciate it.
