  1. Found FI shoes online- check! Emailed negligent wedding coordinator- check! *The last time I heard from her was November 05th!!! I need a glass of wine.
  2. Got a bunch of stuff done today! Dragged the FI to the mall, lol *it almost didn't happen. Let's say someone has a baaaad attitude. So I simply said "if staying home and playing video games is more important than your wedding, than so be it". That got him moving. Anyway, so we got his pants hemmed (and three others). We also bought his ring. It's really nice. Good thing we went this weekend too because they have to order it in in his size which will take three weeks. Now we need to get him some sandals which are going to have to be ordered online because there is nothing in the stores. He has a dental appt. this Thursday (sparkling white teeth are a must!) and I have my first dress fitting this Thursday too. I left it as late as I could. Was hoping I'd drop a few more pounds. In the end I have changed the shape of my body somewhat so hopefully it will be noticeable when wearing my dress. I have a decent figure but I have large hips and my small waist I feel accentuates it. So I am a little self-conscious about my hips. I suppose we all have our insecurities. Lot's of side poses! lol We are doing a legal ceremony so I wasn't even thinking of writing the vows... I hope that will be ok. Brooke, your ceremony will be tear-jerking Things left to do... -book manicure -haircuts -buy extra suitcase -FI shoes -playlist for reception -oh and everything to do with the actual wedding! I haven't heard from my wedding coordinator in over a month. She hasn't ever sent me the menu, flower choices, ANYTHING. Getting a little pissed.

I swear girl... nah tell us whats eating at you... we'll all sort it out togther ... Or drink together lol haha thx Susie! Nothing really is bugging me... just getting stressed in anticipation. Long list of things to do still. I am wishing I made my ceremony at 3pm or 3:30pm. I feel 4pm will be a big rush against time in regards to darkness. Here's to hoping the wedding is on time! At least my photographer takes awesome night shots, lol
  8. Just curious... what time are all your ceremonies? We are at 4pm... I have always regretted this and felt it was a bit late, but what can you do? *I am stressing over everything at this point.

  10. K, This is gonna be quick, another busy day at work! Vday bride: I would be pissed plaine and simple. I don't think it's fair, he's being selfish. The focus should be on you two and only you two. My FI's uncle got engaged last summer... so my FFIL has been joking about them having a wedding the same week. Not funny. Plan your own wedding. Don't ride in on the coattails of mine. Grrr Brooke: I am sorry to hear you are so sick! Hope you feel better soon! Guys- I am starting to SERIOUSLY worry about the weather. It is horrible down there right now. AND, when I was home for Christmas, my parents kept talking about how horrible their weather was when they were there in Feb. last year. :s I want sun and hot hot hot...
  11. OMIGOD Erica is back!!!!! I am was getting worried about you!!! Nice to see you again! I don't have any last minute guests yet... I am trying to get one of my best friends from home to come but we'll see. Right now we are 5 perfect round tables of 8! So any additions will screw that up, but I think it's a good problem to have.
  12. Alison, you look beautiful! and yes! wedding dresses are so lovely.
  13. Hey guys! Just a quick post from the West Coast! In BC for Xmas with the family sans FI Congrats Timberly on getting hitched legally! and nice photos. *hot mama Merry Christmas everyone if I dont get a chance to post again before!!! xoxo
  14. I just wanted to say I love you guys! i am so glad this thread got started. I hope that we keep in touch for the years to come! feeling nostalgic today... picked up my invitations and they are beautiful! Ana really out did herself. For the first time it really really feels real! i am getting married!!!! I  you guys. haha btw- I asked my FI if I should do a boudoir shoot... he said yes! until he found out I wouldn't actually be fully naked.... i said- so what you would like then is for me to do a porn shoot! don't think so........ I have to go now... I hear FI slamming doors looking for the chocolates.........
  15. Holy sh*&t Shells that picture is really sexy AND classy! makes me wish I did one... Although... I'd still be afraid it would end up in the wrong hands, but then again if I looked that hot maybe I wouldnt care... lol
  16. AMAZING!! i am so excited to have Samuel shoot our wedding. WOW. Your pictures are beautiful, you must both be so happy. I was so worried about the timing of my wedding, that there wouldn't be enough daylight after the ceremony for couple shots... but his night time pictures are so breath taking I am not worried anymore!! Thank-you soooo much for sharing!

So here it is so far....the first one is just the dress and the second one is the sandles I think I will wear to the reception (thanks for the pose Timberly!). Raykel you look so prettY! and YES your waist is barely there! Quote: Originally Posted by TeNeil Your dresses are beautiful........even the one that the tranny is wearing! haha! I have a chiffon dress with a train... not a long train but long enough that it will become annoying at the reception, trying to dance etc... so hopefully there is a way they can bustle it for me too! I never knew it was this popular either until I found this board! We know a couple that did it last year but it was more low key, kind of last minute thing. They were already planning the trip to Mexico and decided to just get married there. I have always wanted to get married on a beach. It just makes more sense too, because all my family is in the West of Canada and have to travel anyway. My FI's family is all here or in Ontario... so to be fair, we wanted neutral ground. But it's definitely not that common.
  18. HAHA good one Susie! except my FMIL and FSIL have seen my dress. I was just in a goofy mood yesterday came across this crazy site of wedding disasters. Anyway... could you imagine? I don'T know what's worse? that 'dress' or these shoes: Timberly! you must be getting excited!! have a great weekend in Vegas! Sorry to hear about your kitty Brooke, but she'll heal up just fine. Thank God you found her. So have we officially given up on Erica? I leave on Saturday for ten days. Going to Beautiful BC to see my family, so I doubt I'll be on here that much... we'll see, lol Oh! exciting news!!! my invitations came in the mail yesterday!! I have to go pick them up at the post office tonight.

Not sure if the rest of your family would be up for a Disney vacation instead of a Caribbean one, but it's something to think about And it's definitely not cheesy, even though it sounds like it, they're actually beautiful weddings Just something to think about... I was thinking the exact same thing!!!!
  20. guys- I thought it was time to share my dress with you all! I have been nervous because I still have some weight to lose... but this was me at my fitting last month.. it's more of a cat suit than a dress but it just seemed so beach wedding appropriate!
  21. Well, I find him now on the medium level depending what package you book him. I thnk you will be hard up to find a photographer for less than $2k
