As a current dental professional I would suggest you consult with your regular dentist. It all depends on how extensive the treatment would be to complete in a 9 month time frame. I would say for simple correction invisalign may be used, however braces might be a better alternative if more movement/adjustments are needed. There are many factors to take into account in terms of veneers, once again its so hard to say, every patient is different. I would recommend booking a consult...see what information they have for you. It gives you a chance to ask questions etc. Best of luck!

Congrats and Welcome! Thats a good budget to work with. It all depends where you want to splurge and where you know you are ok with saving. Things like a dress alone could easily dip well into the budget. Another thing is the cost of the reception, being that you will be having around 80 people, most wedding packages will cover anywhere from 10-25 people (maybe more, I havent seen), anything above this number is an additional cost per guest. The extra cost can be for the dinner, cocktail hour etc so that could range on avg 100pp dep whats included. These additional fees can add up. Photography is another item to be considered as well as a dj. Once you narrow down a resort you will have a better idea what is included in a general package and how you will need to customize it for your wedding. Happy Planning!

Hey Echo...just thought I'd give you an update. I have also still not heard back from westjet. It was sounding like I may hear something by the end of the week, so I will see if anything comes through tomorrow! On another note Ethos did mention that it would take 6 months to order a dress, and from other friends who have bought at other stores in the city, that seems to be the standard. I know...pressure! Esp if you need alterations, that would put us around the time frame of end February, beginning of March...wedding April...? I'm not sure if you have seen the billboard for the Calgary Bridal Fair in Sept. I believe its on the 27th, I hear they have sample sales, however not sure if I would want to take my chances on it and not find something?

Wow...that is wicked pricing! I have noticed that if you go through a U.S carrier there does seem to be a lot more options as far as flexibility goes...def decreases travel time. I never thought to price it out that way. Air Canada is just ridiculous...everything goes through Toronto, makes no sense. So west-jet seemed to be the most viable option. I'm going to wait to find out what the pricing is fr WJ and go from there...but def going to keep this in mind!! Echo I went dress shopping for the first time about a week and a half ago. Started at Ethos, I found the same thing. I would like one thing about one dress and dislike a big feature on it...then move on to another dress that "seemed" nice, but some of the details just were'nt right. What places did you check out? My next stop will be Cameo and Cufflinks, I hear they have a great selection. I'll keep you posted about WJ!
