Okay it's Friday and I have been up for so long now. I don't know what my problem is - I can't fall asleep at night, yet I'm wide awake at crazy hours. Don't get me wrong this is good because usually I have to really force myself to get out of bed - sometimes 10 mins before we're supposed to leave (hubby and I carpool as we work at the same place). Chris - good luck - have everything crossed for you. Alison - I got a code for a free book from Picaboo. I have not heard of them before or have not seen their product, but free might be worth giving it a try to see. Have a great Friday ladies!! Oh I put up some reception (photobooth) photos on FB last night. Have a look, it was a blast!!

ha ha ha Brooke - we have a pile of stuff that we are regifting/garage sale-ing. Two of the gifts I was most surprised by were a knife block and a set of pots. If that wasn't on someone's registry and they didn't ask for it, is that something you would get? It's definately not like the willow tree - you definately win ha ha ha ha Just remember who gave it to you so that you a) don't give it back to them and that they don't see it at a friend's/family's house. Oh and Chris - you got snow because you were talking about wearing open-toed shoes!!

Hope you guys had a great weekend. So I was on FB looking at a friend's pictures - she just had her birthday and went out to a local bar. This is something I would totally do (actually take the picture), but it really made me realize how greatful I am that my bar days are over!!

Sabrina - it was great to put my dress back on. Although now I'm going through the withdrawal you mentioned after you came back. I don't think it hit me until now because I still had the AHR. Chris - maybe you should talk really loud on the phone about how your co-worker is pregnant and thinks she fooling people, but really everyone knows. Brooke's suggestions are hilarious. You could always leave her anonomous notes ha ha ha Krista - sucky about your hand, especially because it's your right hand. I think we're headed out furniture shopping this weekend. We moved in to our house in Aug, but wanted to wait until after the wedding to get furniture to see what we got or didn't get. Wish us luck!! We need somewhere to put our clothes, besides the floor ha ha ha

Chris - so use the questions that Brooke mentioned ha ha ha specially if she's worried about losing the baby fat after!! Also, we had the AHR because we didn't invite a lot of people to the actual wedding and I didn't have a reception down there. It was going to cost $35US/person. I did not want to pay that for my guests when it's an all-inclusive resort. Tricia - we just started kinda trying last month. It didn't happen so therefore I could drink...I just didn't really have time at the AHR because I was too busy visiting with everyone. Brooke - too funny with the TTD. Stop stressing that baby out!! I was stressing for mine and it went smoother than I could have imagined. Best of luck with it!! Yes SOME pics are on FB. I have to email my photog and hope that she gets them to me soon because she's going to Jamaica on the weekend - lucky girl won the trip from a radio station.

Brooke - sorry your sister found out but now you have someone to help you out at your reception if you need it ha ha ha 14 kegs? 40 bottles? holy crap lady!! Hope you have a great time regardless of the fact that you can't drink. I had a total of 3 drinks and I really was okay with that and still had a great time. Krista - check the internet for inspiration or a little push with your vows. Just because someone else wrote parts of it doesn't mean you don't feel it. Ali - glad you had a great time in NY. I can't believe it's only Tuesday - I'm still so tired!!

Very cool I'm excited to see your pics. I took Friday off so I really didn't want to take Monday too. I'm working from home today so it's in between work and taking the day off ha ha ha

Hey sunshines!! My AHR went great. The ice cream and photobooth were a huge hit!! When I get the pics I will be sure to put them up. One of my friends put some up last night. So I had a couple people comment about me not drinking ha ha ha My cousins and I have this bet every year at Christmas to see who the next person to get pregnant is (it's not necessarily a good thing as I think I'm the only grandchild that's married and there are MANY great-grandchildren), so the bet is on me this year. My cousin's FI asked if she could get me a drink. I said no I'm okay. She said do I win the bet ha ha I said I'll have a vodka and sprite then. It was pretty funny and a couple of people commented to Glenn about me drinking "water" which I wasn't. So I am still tired from Saturday night. I think we finally got to be around 2-2:30 and were up at 7 and at brunch at my mom's for 10:30. I started to fall asleep at 6 and I should have let myself because by the time I went to bed at 10 I was wide awake!! Hope you all had a great weekend!! Krista - love your dress - I almost picked that one too!! So the hall is all decorated and ready to go so tomorrow I can relax. Our AHR starts at 7. My photog put together a slideshow together for me with bloopers...OMG is it so funny. I will have to post some of them. Anyway ladies - have fun doing whatever your doing or nothing at all!!

Erica - I'm assuming you weren't in the way of the earthquake? When you hadn't posted in a couple days I was going to put out a search party for you!! HAPPY FRIDAY ALL!!

Oh Chris I love the pics you put up!! And your co-worker sucks. So apparently hubby and SIL have sorta worked things out for the sake of Saturday and then they'll sit down after. I still don't want them there, but he does and so for his sake I will bite my lip again. Boy I'm going to have no lips soon - okay that's a funny mental image. Today's my Friday at work - woohoo!! Have a couple of appointments tomorrow and then we're decorating the hall in the afternoon. My mom called me last night and wants to have people over for brunch on Sunday so I think that will be pretty cool too. Is that a traditional thing to do? She wanted to do it so I'll just let her. ha ha ha Have a good day girls!!

I like those Chris. I was actually thinking about doing that - or getting custom ones from Vistaprint. Still haven't decided what we're doing yet. Sorry to hear about your pics. I know exactly what you're talking about. One pic in particular everyone was saying how much they liked it and then I pipe up and say I hate my smile ha ha ha We are our own worst critics. So remember all my ranting about the SIL? Well our reception is this weekend and she's gone and done it again. BIL was a part of the wedding party and we weren't really sure if we were doing a wedding party dance or what. So hubby gets an email today from her saying that BIL will not be taking part in any wedding party dances. They didn't even dance at their own wedding and that we should really respect that. So hubby emails his mom like what the heck, the world does not revolve around her. So the mom said she didn't say anything, but then hubby gets another email saying that they're not coming on Saturday that they haven't tried to ruin everything and on and on. So hubby tells me not to tell any one because he was sure his mom was going to try to convince them to come. I tell him I don't want them there any more. Ugg so frustrating and we're fighting because of them. The reason we're fighting is because I'm tired of them blaming him and I'm tired of him thinking it's okay to be blamed. I told him that I understood that he's used to it, but that I wasn't okay with it and I never will be. So I need to let it go...I really do, it's just really fresh right now. So I get home and get on FB and guess who has taken us off her's. Mature!! I'm not into playing games, but let me tell you if I was to play I would do it better. I really want nothing to do with them...but for hubby's nephew. I guess sometimes you have to give up good things in life.

My friends told me that too...I didn't listen. My hubby and his groomsmen got ready in his parent's room. Some resorts do offer the bride a room to get ready in or a complimentary room for the night before, based on availability.

Erica - that picture looks great!! All this shopping in NY talk - I'm jealous. I've made it a lot of places, but NY is one on the list that I haven't been to yet. Chris - come on now!! No responses to your emails now??

I heard the 2 day thing but with my funky schedule...maybe I'll figure it all out tomorrow at work ha ha ha ha Ohhhhh Brooke I just had sushi today!!!!! I was supposed to go earlier, but wasn't sure about things so I figure might as well go while I can. I've heard you can't because of parasites.

I know she wants to have another. The last time she did the caesar thing (for US - bloody mary), but mixed it herself. So she can't do that any more. We invited her out for sushi and she declined so I am watching her closely!! Back from FL - I was in Fort Lauderdale. I thought about asking you whereabouts you were, however it was a fly in, fly out trip and I didn't really have any time to do anything So being that AF has been so random and came 3 days early I think we'll just have to try everyday this month!!

VCR?? Okay you win ha ha ha I watched last season too...it's a train wreck, you can't help but watch. I work in patents, but it's really difficult to tell you what I do ha ha ha ha The reason I travel so much is that my team is based in Texas. This FL trip is for a 4-hour meeting

So my "monthly gift" came 4 days early this month...no wonder we didn't get pregnant ha ha ha ha Oh well like Chris said everything happens for a reason and now I don't have to worry about trying to fool people at the reception. Oh Chris I watch that too. It's the worst show out there, but I still sit there and watch it...well actually I PVR it ha ha ha ha that's even worse!! It's to the point where I want to reach through the screen and knock their heads together. My cousin is a year younger than me and already has 4 kids...she started when she was 16 because she wanted to quit school and move out on her own. My aunt has custody of 2 of them...ya she's a great mom who to this day still gets kicked out of apartments for not paying rent and she's 32, no job, etc. Oh I could go on and on...

Timberly - what a pain in the butt. That is not something you need to be thinking about/dealing with. I hope it goes well - at least you got something....keep trying. Erica - I saw your pics on FB. It looked beautiful!! We chose to stay an extra week as our honeymoon, but now I wish we would have done it differently. Oh well I think we're going to plan a trip out East this fall. I have an aunt and uncle in Nova Scotia that told us any time we wanted to come out we were welcome. Makes for a cheap vacation!! The weather is really dull and gray here today. I'm heading to FL in a bit so hopefully sunshine awaits!!

YEAH BROOKE!! Congratulations and all the best. I agree with the baby thread - why start another when this one works so well. Woohoo another Feb Bride Baby!!! I have been feeling like crap lately - feeling really sick to my stomach and headaches. It better not be the flu!! ha ha ha

Oh I didn't realize there was a cougar thing going on here...I can join that club - he's 3 years younger!! Yep Chris I do - for sure let me know if you're in town. We can get together for whatever kind of drinks we can. ha ha Brooke - 5 hours? Are you nuts!!!!!! I used to commute 1.5 (2 or more in bad weather/traffic) and that got rediculous!!

I don't know the whole story and do not want to ask. I do know that when they got engaged they were not bf/gf. They did a big Disney wedding and he moved here from another province and they were building a house - big sad mess!!
