This is a frank, TRUTHFUL rundown of what it REALLY is to have, or be planning, a destination wedding and I think a lot of brides-to-be should be required to read this before deciding if a DW is the right choice for them!! I think a lot of headaches and heartache could be spared if EACH POTENTIAL DW COUPLE reads your beautifully written "Be Forewarned" style post about the extreme highs and crushing lows that can result in deciding to get married away from home -- KUDOS TO YOU!!! You are a force of nature. THANK YOU for reiterating what I know I will have to deal with (and for knowing what I've faced already since we announced our intentions) on my path to my dream wedding -- which is a DW, come hell or high water! Oh, wow.....do you ever look A-MAAAAZING!! And what a tan, too! Try to listen to the other girls and remember how beautiful you looked when you saw yourself in the dress, IN person; it's hard to believe, but a photo from a fitting is NEVER going to live up the vision you have in your mind, which will be TOTALLY fulfilled when you have your hair, make-up and jewelry on with the dress for the BIG DAY! I'm late to the party, but my vote is now officially cast! Each and every nominee brings so much to BDW and deserves to be recognized -- congratulations on being nominated, and GOOD LUCK TO EACH OF YOU!! HUGS

So here's a mini-rant, because I'm a little frustrated, as well: My Sandals WC is someone named Melody (although she goes by Nina) and I sent her a lengthy email outlining what add-ons I am looking for, indicating that I am EXTREMELY busy and the best way to correspond with me (while I am working 2 jobs to pay for this whole thing!!!) is via email..... To which SHE responds, that I will need to call her with my credit card number when I am ready to "finalize" (ie. pay for) these details -- I WANT INFORMATION before I go ahead with these things, but I am TOO damn busy working to have a long phone call with her!!! Ggggrrrrr -- what ISN'T she understanding here?!?! Anyway, my #1 tip is, if you have a Travel Agent, COPY (or blind-copy if you feel more comfortable that way) him or her on ANY and ALL correspondence with your Sandals WC!!! My TA contacted me to see what the status was to the last unanswered email BEFORE Nina did (althought my TA is crazy-busy, too!) and told me she would get involved if another week went by with no word from her. GET YOUR TA involved -- it'll get things done, you'll appreciate their dilligence and attention to your destination wedding planning, and the next time you go on a trip, don't forget what they've done for you! Be sure to give them your future business!

Sure did work out today!!! Actually, I wanted to say I more proud of myself for running around for 8 hours on Sunday at my part time job behind a deli counter, and then still coming home and putting in 40 minutes on my elliptical, + doing arms and abs, even though I was exhausted!! TONIGHT: Another 500 calories burned with 45 min. elliptical workout, 150 varied crunches, and I don't even KNOW how many curls with 10 lb. weights! Gotta see some pay-off at my 1st dress fitting next Tuesday, right?! 14 lbs. lost from from when I tried it on when it came in to the salon in November! KEEP IT UP, GIRLS!!! YOU'RE ALL DOING A-MAZZZZZING!!!

UPDATE!! So, this is what I finally decided to use on the back side of our OOT mugs, with our original logo (same one as in my siggy!) on the front: Enjoy the tropical breeze, Raise your glasses with ease, As two hearts join as one, Shout out “Cheers!" and have fun... Just thought I'd pass it along, since it's sort of like one I posted before, but with 2 new lines for those of you looking for something a little bit longer!

Personally, I loved B, with the way the background colors fade from one into the next, and I adore the way the white lettering "pops" more so than option #1...just a thought! They are all equally fabulous however, so whichever one you selected, you can't go wrong!
