Sounds like everyone is making great progress! I was JUST telling my fiance the other day that it's crazy to see 2012 brides on here! Makes me know that our date is actually really close! We still need to get suits for the groomsmen, but I think that's the last BIG thing we need to do. I'm anxious to start on OOT bags, but really should wait until after our RSVP date (April 1) so I don't waste money on getting too much! Our costs are really starting to add up...I've been keeping a tally and it's kind of scary! What starts as just $5000 total quickly gets bigger... Anyone else experiences this?

I can join this group! My FI has a 7 year old son. Poor guy has been trying to figure out who is who lately, and what to call everyone (new grandparents/aunts/uncles/etc.) as his mom just got married and we are of course getting married this year. Luckily I've been a part of his life since he was 3 and we get along great! There are always jumps and hurdles to deal with and I anticipate they'll get harder as he reaches his teenage years. Thankfully I'm a 7th grade teacher and know what to expect and how to deal with it I look forward to sharing stories/venting/helping each other out!

Our ceremony is a 5pm as well - I hope the lighting is perfect We just got our ring bowl in....I love it!

That was kind of my thought too, but I just thought we might miss all the special dances - or, kind of have to orchestrate it ourselves which didn't sound like fun. We aren't having an AHR, so I'm thinking a DJ might be worth it for those moments I also have a good friend who is expecting - due in April - so I know what you mean about time flying! Yes! Thank you jszy10 for posting your timeline. Our ceremony also starts at 5pm, so it is totally helpful! Here is what I have done so far... Wedding Date: June 14, 2011 Photography: Sascha Gluck STD: sent in September from Sproullie Designs Invitations: sent a couple of days ago from Sproullie Designs still looking into a Welcome Dinner DJ is undecided - are you all using DJ's. I'm just not sure if it seems like a waste for only 20 or so people... ? Dress: in in February, first fitting likely in March Hair/Makeup: Fernando Fuentes website: done! registry: done! OOT bags: in process, but waiting for RSVP's to come back for final numbers plane tickets: done! wedding bands: mine is in, but I need to have it sized - his! He is having the hardest time finding a style he likes, much more picky than me! Are you all having any showers? I'm having one in April which means that will be here super quick!!! yay!

Wow! You are on a roll too! I guess we have to be since we're 5 MONTHS out! I also have my wedding ring, but I have to have it sized and then appraised with my engagement ring for insurance...that isn't as fun!

My invitations are oficially in the mail, registries are completed, and bridesmaids dresses will be ordered this week! Whew! How is everyone else doing?

We booked Sascha Gluck Love his work and it was more reasonable than some photogs, but not all. We're paying $1300 for 4 or 5 hours (I forget which)! Congrats on getting your invites done! Our wedding date is right after yours and our timelines are similar - I'm sending out invites this week. They are stuffed and ready to go. I just want to get our registries finalized before the invites go out

We're getting married June 14, 2011!! Can't believe it's OUR YEAR! woo hoo!

Our guests are slow at booking as well - I'm hoping getting invites out this month will put some pressure on them, but probably not!

Welcome back, Chris! I'm about the same as you...invites are sealed and ready to go. We are just registering at one more place before we send them next week. We already registered at Macy's and Crate&Barrel My sister and I are going to look at bridesmaid's dresses this week and Fiance and I are ordering wedding rings this month! So much exciting stuff to do!!! Glad to hear that you got the dress situation worked out - such a tragedy for some brides! Can't believe 2011 is here - the countdown is on!!!

I'm a teacher We are leaving the day after school gets out! It will probably be totally stressful, but after being engaged for a year and a half, I couldn't wait anymore! Plus, once we get to Cancun, I can melt the stress away on the beach Happy planning!
