  1. Hey Lori! Thank you!! We figured this would be a good idea and my mom thinks it's better than nothing, lol. We're both actually really looking forward to it.
  2. my fav : skinny cinnamon dolce latte
  3. I think those colors w/look great together. It's somewhat similar to ours: chocolate brown, ivory, taupe, with chartreuse accents. It helps to play around with color swatches and see what looks best with what, but you're on the right track.
  4. I used to wax, until I found the great world of threading. When I used to wax, I would get red bumps and it would usually go away within a day, but just to be safe move your appointment. And like everyone else said, I would rather pluck than having to deal with redness or white bumps in your wedding pics! Yikes!

Our wedidng was on a friday, she has that to us by Monday evening and by Wednesday night we left with EVERYTHING!!! You get to pick the music that your slide slow is set to ( so bring a burned copy of your CD if your songs are typical wedding songs) They were so worth the money because you wouldn't be able to get what we got for that price in here in the US!!!! Wow, that is an amazing turn around time!!! Were you able to leave with your ceremony video as well or is that being shipped to you?
  7. Your FREE pics came out great! You cannot beat the deal. I wish they were here in NY!
  8. Congratulations on finding the one! It's a great feeling huh?!
  9. I heard back from Severine! Yeyyyy! She said that the 2010 packages are still a work in progress, but she doesn't foresee much changing on the one already distributed. Also, a plus for Excellence resort brides is that they don't require a deposit if you are getting married at the resort, since photosouvenir is the on-site photographer. Once we arrive at the resort, we confirm our package there.
  10. Sounds alot less stressful than your initial plan. Who better to help you celebrate when you get back than your closest loved ones!? Best of luck!
  11. Wow, so glad to see more 2010 brides on the forum! WELCOME AND HAPPY PLANNING!
  12. Thank you ladies for your responses. Well I checked out the 2010 prices, and it looks like they don't offer photo/video combination packages anymore? I know in the 2009 price packages, they did. I would like to book as well, but it doesn't sound like you ladies are having much luck with that either. Happygilmore, how long before your wedding were you able to book your session? I do know they are quite busy from what I've been reading, but that still doesn't appease us brides, lol. Let's hope they get to their emails soon...
  13. Well these are my first attempt at my wedding shoes...I still have a little under a year left, I may just find something better b/t now and then, lol.
  14. Thank you both very much!! This helps alot!! When you both booked, did they require a deposit?
  15. Soo...anybody having issues getting through to photosouvenir? I'm not sure if their website is down. I'm starting to wonder if they are not booking next year yet. I've tried emailing severine and have not received a response with their 2010 prices. I want to book asap as I do not want them to book up. Anyone else having issues?
  16. tamadana, the sand is a tan color on this side of the beach. If you want more white sand, check out the bavaro beach section of punta cana.

I'd love to see what she could do for me! Hey Savannah, thanks!! And I do know what you mean, most inspiration bouquet I've seen with choc brown seem too "dark." I purchased from etsy seller ardesign. She does great work. I hope she's able to make you just as happy. Post back with pics!
  18. Wow, some of these prices are outrageous! I'm hoping ours doesn't come out to more than $500...but thankfully, we'll be receiving help.
  19. I think it's a cute idea! I went to a DW in Punta Cana last year, and the bride made little frames with the different provinces in the Dominican Republic (e.g., Puerto Plata, Higuey, etc.) She received lots of compliments!!
