Flights only book out 300 days ahead so you may have to wait some time. Your travel agent can get you group rates or you can go through the hotel. You have a lot of freedom to make your ceremony and reception how you would like it. Ana sent me quotes for photography. Does anyone know if Photosouvenier is the standard photographer for excellence or do you have to specify ahead of time? I think most brides booked directly with photosouvenir. I know that when I asked my WC the options for photography at the resort, she advised that I contact photosouvenir for booking my date. I hear they book up quickly!

It makes my make-up last all day. It's not a bad idea to go to a counter...I was thinking of going to a MAC one to do a one-on-one. Let us know how it goes.
  4. Congrats and welcome to the forum!! Best of luck planning!
  5. Just keep playing with it...there are plenty of threads on here that will help.
  6. My hair is naturally curly, but I am not wearing my natural curl for my updo as my curls are curlier than I want for the hair style. Hope that made sense, lol. I will get my hair straight here at home, then while I'm there I think I'll have the resort's spa do my updo. I am curious as to how those Living Proof products work...I use Redken Fresh Curls product line, and I really like the way it leaves my hair shiny.
  7. I also started drinking Perrier to kill my craving of soda. I stopped drinking soda about 6 years ago, and only have it very rarely...but now with Perrier, I get the fizz fix and with 0 calories! I've tried the Lemon, Lime, and the new Pink Grapefruit.
  8. I agree with everyone here; MAC has great products! For everyday make-up, I wear Laura Mercier, Smashbox, and Stila. Great products!!!
  9. My latest addiction food is salt & vinegar chips! I love the TANG! Mmmm...I try not to eat them too much though, lol. I'm also now addicted to skinny cinnamon dolce latte from Starbucks! Only 90 calories! I have one at least 2 times a week... I'm also addicted to Turkey Hill Diet Green Tea & Mango...
  10. I love the chocolate cupcakes by Hostess!! Yum! Snacking without the guilt!
  11. Ooh this thread is great! One inexpensive beauty product that I've been using for years is mayonnaise on my hair!! Yes, your good ole' Hellman's from your local market. Although smelly, lol, it really does leave my hair super shiny...it's fairly inexpensive and it works! I used to use inexpensive beauty products...but as you age, you notice those same make-ups don't work the same anymore, lol. I now use alot of Laura Mercier (expensive, I know) products and Stila! Although more expensive, I LOVE and LIVE by these! I noticed a difference the first time I started using them...I loved them so much, I had to stomach the price. gulp! The one good thing is that they last a long time...so that's how i justify it, lol.
  12. Took a hot yoga class today!! Feel rejuvenated!!!
  13. So glad to see more 2010 brides on here!! Welcome newbies!
  14. Definitely get a pinata! Maybe some maracas, sombreros, maybe mariachi music. If you have a national wholesale liquidators near you, go check them out...they usually have a ton of decorations to choose from! Best of luck planning.
  15. Very unique ring. I think it'd be kinda cool to just have your e-ring also serve as the wedding band. If you google it, you will find lots of sites that offer turquoise wedding bands...
