The Costco is about 5 minutes away from the tourist center of Cabo San Lucas, on "the corridor", this is the road between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose. The artesano's store is great too, but it is mexican style oriented, no plain vases there but colorful ones.

Hello Valerie! Congratulations and welcome to the forum! Where were you planning to get married in Mexico? I've been living in Cabo San Lucas for 6 years and never had any problems of any kind, and in my opinion the USA right now is a more violent country than mexico. Mexico is a wonderful country and the people are warm welcoming and very friendly...The drug war is a very isolated phenomenom and does not take place in the wedding destination cities like Cabo, Cancun or Puerto Vallarta. I got married in Tulum last year, with friends and relatives from all around the world, every body had a great time... Hope this will give you a better opinion of Mexico!

Hi Kit! Welcome to the forum and congratulations! I live in Cabo San Lucas, and I can tell you there are a few places with cliffs overlooking the ocean in the Los Cabos area: houses in the pedregal, the mona lisa restaurant, many private villas... Hope this helps!

From a photographer's point of view, the longer the better...more time means more photo opportunities. But to be more objective, i think the "getting ready" shots are great to have, of course the ceremony and a little session with the bride and groom...Then it is about getting the fun moments between family and friends, for my wedding, I was glad to have a photographer until the end of the night to document people getting crazy and having fun on the dance floor after a few drinks...
