My wife and I got married in Tulum last year and 3 of our best friends performed the ceremony for us.We didn't make anything official thought (our official wedding was in Paris), but it was great, they wrote very personnal texts , it was magic and very fun for us!     The Riu is a big hotel, they do a lot of weddings, and they impose a lot of "rules"to their clients (shouldn't it be the opposite?), their reputation and quality standards are, in my opinion, getting lower...

    June is one of the best time to get married in Cabo, it's starting to get hot but it not unpleasant heat, the ocean gets warmer, and the nights are not as cold... Congratulations and good luck with your planning!

    Hi Rory, Welcome to the forum! i think one of the main thing in a destination wedding is to stand in front of the ocean barefoot during the ceremony! I got married in Tulum last year, and we really wnated a beach ceremony. Hope this helps! Good luck with your planning!
