My older sister – she was the 1st person I saw Big or small wedding? small How many people are you inviting? Sent about 80 invites How many do you think will attend? 50ish Date to get married? Haven't decided yet, but something nontraditional What time will your wedding be? 6:00 pm (I think...just before sunset) Where are you getting married? Our Past Time Villas - Negril, Jamaica Where will reception be? Our Past Time Villas Possible AHR for 1yr Anniversary What food will be served? My family is catering, so all traditional Jamaican food… Curried goat, rice & peas, jerk chicken, potato salad, fried fish, curry shrimp, conch soup, and tons of other stuff I can’t even think about now, YUMMY!!! What flavor cake and frosting? Wedding Cake – Bottom layer traditional Jamaican wedding cake, top 2 layers white cake w/pineapple filling and vanilla buttercream frosting Grooms cake – Chocolate cake w/strawberry or raspberry filling & chocolate buttercream frosting (In the shape of the corvette emblem…My FI’s 2nd love is his car!) What type of cake topper? Monogram “R” and flowers (not sure what kind yet) What are your Wedding Favors? Mini bottles of Appleton Rum and koozies w/our Monogram Songs for dancing with parents? Not doing parent dances Are you having an open bar? Absolutely!!! What is your first dance song? Haven’t come up with one yet Describe your dress? Ivory w/ champagne lace overlay Wedding Colors? Aqua and Coral Describe your bridesmaids dresses? Only a MoH and she doesn’t have a dress yet Do you plan on having any children? Yes, but not for a few years What if your ex came running in and tried to stop the wedding? Laugh What if the groom's mom came running in and tried to stop the wedding? Laugh, then maybe punch her in the face, LOL!

I would stick with one of the closer churches. 50+ minutes on a bus each way is a long trip just for a 30-45 min ceremony (if even that long). As a guest, I would be a little irritated. But, as a bride, if it is a fabulous church, and you can't see yourself getting married anywhere else, go for it!
