Has anyone done a private party at the parrot bar? Is that the same as the See & sea restaurant? What does the beach party include?

What else can you say about the excursions?

Thanks for the great posts! My FI and I are going to be married there on July 31, 2009!!! I can NOT wait! I have been talking with Massiel. I don't plan on an elaborate party, my main focus is the photographer....I've emailed the one recommended by the resort but haven't heard from them. Does anyone have other suggestions? Thanks!

We are planning to be married before we travel also. I was told that the ceremony will be exactly the same, only without the paper work! I am nervous though! Being married before won't change anything about our travel arrangements, right? It's a fun little secret!

My fiance and I are just starting the adventure of planning our destination wedding to the DR. We've been engaged since November and I have already planned an entirely different wedding in Wyoming....change of plans!!! We are looking at the Majestic - adults only resort and the Gran Bahia Principe- adults only. Any suggestions which one is better? Any other suggestions? Thanks!!! <3Shannon
