    Thanks, I ended up registering for a few things, just in case...Does everyone know that if you register at Amazon.com the gifts get shipped directly to you. I thought that was great for us Destination girls. BTW I love carved soaps , what would life be like without them.

    There are lots of photographers in the area, use the search option to find the posts. But, I think Beaches charges a hefty fee for an outside photographer. Maybe they could sneak in as a guest on a day pass...I am using Brian Nejedly. briandesign.com You can google his website. And, after my wedding I can let you know how it went. His prices are reasonable. Seems like $2500 give or take a little gets you about 5 hours, dvds with all printable prints, and an album. You can try Stacy Clarke, I liked her website but didn't hear back from her before I booked Brian. Good luck.

    Yes, a day pass must be purchased for a private photographer, but the pass includes food, etc, so you won't have worry about them starving....Some photographers include it in their fees but most do not.

    Hi all- Is it okay to register for gifts or even expect gifts with a destination wedding? My guest are already spending money on their flights and hotels....What did you all do?

    Need some advice. My guests may not want to use my travel agent. She feels we can get better perks, etc., if the bulk of my guests use her. Which, I believe. However, with all the travel web-sites--many people feel they can get a better deal on their own? I even found a better price then she quoted me, by $300 dollars. Times are tough, I want my guests to get good deals. How do I get them to use the TA without seeming pushy?

    Has anyone used Clayton John Foster? I have been looking thru posts to get in contact with local photographers and his name came up. I have gotten into contact with him but his website is under construction so he couldn't many pictures for me to view. Names of other local photographers that you loved would also be appreciated.     I love the mini rum bottles, what a good idea. We were going to bring colored paper fans for the ladies but didn't know what to get for the guys. I think we might use your rum idea.
