Hi fellow beach brides I would recommend the Barcelo Riviera Maya. They have 5 resorts that range in price from low end, medium, and the palace which is exquisite. My fiance and I chose this resort for that very reason and we are going to stay at the palace since they are suites and offer extra stuff. The resort is excellent if you will have kids attending because they have alot to do and also have a great kids club. My family and I have been going to the Barcelo since Spring 2004 and have never had any complaints. We are actually going on a family vacation at the barcelo riviera maya tropical in may and my fiance and I are doing our site visit then. The resort also offers a beautiful wedding gazebo to get married at if you don't want to be right on the beach and they also have a couple of chapels. P.S. I saw that show on the travel channel and all the resorts are beautiful! Ultimately where you choose will be the perfect place for your wedding and your day!

Hey Girls... Thanks for this thread! I have been trying to get a hold of Lori and Lincoln because I really want to book them for my wedding but I got an email saying they were out of town until the 10th. Anyone know about how long I can expect to wait to hear back from them? I think they do amazing work! Anyone have packages from them that you could post?

Hi Everyone... My name is Lauren and I'm new around here. My fiance and I have been debating on a destination wedding for the past year now but I have my heart set on it so we are looking into everything. We tentatively are planning on getting married at the Barcelo Riviera Maya resort hopefully on 5/22/2010 and we are going on a site visit in May with my family. I'm excited to check out all the boards and talk to other brides!
